In regiards to Morgan Wallen. He got caught saying the N word in a security video and apologized and that was it, yet him and Church were friends, and Wallen was about to drop Broadway Girls, with Young Turk. Ryan and Chase Matthews were planning a remix of it, and were recording it, and invited Wallen to meet them at a Aldean's Club on a Friday night, they all showed up, yet Wallen and his people were dicks to Ryan and Chase, so they said fuck him and it, and finished the song and video that night, dropped it the next morning, before Wallen could drop his, and they blew his version out of the water. Church still has his back yet sent a message. It was Morgans label reps that told him to not associate with Ryan.
Plus he was in his own backyard talking to his WHITE friend as they were goofing around. It was not in a hateful way at all. His neighbor had been recording Morgans house for a while. Once this came out it got all misconstrued. He was deemed a racist and he was basically blackballed from country music. Morgan then went on to have the best selling album that year over any artist in any genres of music. They wouldnt play his music on the radio anywhere and was banned from all country music award shows.
Morgan took a hit on that video though..Playin’ or not. I liked Upchurch’s song of Broadway Girls better than Morgan’s! Morgan and his people should’ve never dissed Upchurch at Alden’s. But like Church said Morgan is from TN. and he’ll always have his back. Upchurch won’t even put his version of Broadway Girls on his album. This whole album is 🔥🔥

I’m late as hell for this and you guys probably already know this but Morgen Wallen had that incident where he said the N word with the A at the end and received heavy backlash so it his image was tainted for a little while and then people started to forgive him and around that time him and church I guess were cool with eachother and Church saw him at a bar one day and tried to go up and say what’s up but some woman who worked for Morgan got in front of him and basically told him to go away and saying nope we’re not doing this I guess cause to some people Church can be a controversial person and it was right when people had just started to forgive him for the n word incident so his label was basically controlling his life just so they can make it seem as squeaky clean as possible
