They were innovators......... At that time it wasn't any Female MCs getting shine😮...... But they come out hard, spitting from the females' perspective.... They were some of the FIRST!!!! Them, Queen Latifah, MC Lyte, and others I've might've 4gotten, set the BLUEPRINT for female rappers today.

They were not the first female rappers. There were many before this group. They were just the first female rap group to gain popularity in the late 80's.

Salt is the shorter one with the dark hair. DJ Spinderella in the turn table. They have too many hits to name. "Shake Your Thang" , " Whatta Man", "Shoop", "Let's talk about S@x" and "Express Yourself" just to name a few.

Thanks for giving respect for the old school. It’s easy to look at things as cheesy 20-30 years later, but no one can tell me this wasn’t fire when it came out. And that it still isn’t fire.
