@@tp8030 i absolutely love Simple man by LS…..but the shinedown version is absolutely better. It’s not a question. His vocals have more range and more heart and soul, you can feel the music. Hard to explain. I saw he did a blind reaction of LS version of Simple man, would be great to see what he says about the shinedown version!

Shinedown is definitely one of my favorite bands. So happy we have gotten 20 years of music from them. Have seen them live so many times, and they never disappoint. Whether it's the full band, or when they tour as Smith & Myers (which is basically what this video was, Brent Smith and Zach Myers) you know you will get a passionate performance and a positive message. Hope you check out more from, the full band or more of the acoustic stuff. Call Me, Fly From the Inside, Sound of Madness, How Did You Love, Second Chance, I Dare You , and of course their cover of Lynyrd Skynyrd's Simple Man.

I used to work at a dunkin in Jacksonville and the band came through my drive thru and gave me an autographed copy of the new album at the time because i happened to be listening to simple man in the background

Shinedown is an awesome band....this is a little side project that Brent Smith & guitarist Zack Myers have going on(acoustic)...You have to check out some of their other songs...Brent Smith can sing the crap out of anything he does....the whole band is just great!!!

Love this song and love Shinedown. ❤️ Saw an interview with Brent where he mentioned this particular performance he was sick with the flu. His voice is not at 100%. But it's still a passionate performance. I hope you check out the studio version of this as well. Also Call Me and the cover of Lynyrd Skynyrd's Simple Man are awesome.

I got a bad I think you would really like. And most likely you have heard them. But I just found you today and just scrolling through all your videos I didn't see them. The band is Rage Against The Machine. Song suggestions are Bulls on Parade or Killing In The Name Of. One of the most intense live shows I had the privilege of seeing several times.

Love shinedown. ❤️ A suggestion to react to is the group Bring Me the Horizon. If you want less screamo/metal vibe I'd go for their song " Sugar Honey Ice Tea", a fav, or basically any song on the Amo album. If you want to go harder, Throne and Can You Feel My Heart on Sempiternal are great

This version is good, but it does not do justice. Brent is a power house vocalist. The studio version has so much power. But if you like the unplugged stuff. Their cover of Simple Man is very powerful. I don't follow Brents political views, but he is one bad ass singer.

I suggest Save Me next, but the studio version, not the live version. Cut the Cord is great too, more recent. Shine down is amazing but their live stuff is hit or miss. 45 is more powerful in the recorded track.
