My son struggles with ADHD, depression and anxiety...this is his favorite group. I encouraged him to research this group and when he discovered that they do a lot to help those with mental health struggles, he establish a strong connection with them. He know all of their songs! Shinedown is still one of my top favorite groups. They’ve been my go to for the last twenty years whenever I felt depressed or alone. Atlas Falls and Get Up are two that I listen to daily.

My husband passed away on March 27th. He was a best friend of 30yrs and I finally had the guts to sell my house and move to TX. We had 5 months together. I found him on the floor, massive stroke. Watching his pass away after removing life support, which wasn't working, will be forever in my mind. He was 48. I have nothing left but my senior cat. If not for him....

I've been going through a lot with my dad's health since the end of last year and the beginning of this year. It's a struggle to watch what he's going through and your reaction just made me cry. This song alone makes me cry, but your reaction to this hit me hard right now.

Brother we found out in July 2016 my dad had Pancreatic Cancer and we lost him 3 months later Oct 10 2016. It almost killed me. It still kills me to go home even though my mother is still alive. He was always on the porch sitting in swing or on his tractor mowing which he loved to do. I still break down all the time. Listen to John Micheal Montgomery I miss you a little. I suffer from psychosis and schizophrenia, I was walking home in the rain I stopped a kid from a bridge no words I hugged him I told him I know you’re alone he made it home that day …I never forgot him or his pain he was 14 a baby !!! So young so scared so alone I want no credit for helping him I just know somewhere he’s home and knows he’s not alone now

I lost my best friend in 2021. My dad was my world and will always be. This is a old bluegrass gospel song but it's a heart warmer. Gone away with a friend is the song by Ralph Stanley. I recently had a spiritual awakening thanks to the Lord. I took a hiatus to get away from home sadly to heal. That's tough I left my mama and family behind. I had to change the narrative so I could see things through different eyes. Im blessed to be able to do that and i followed the bible to give me strength. I have never been away from home to "live" somewhere else. Grief is hard. It's hard to understand how to grieve or it was for me. God bless and be strong. Msg me is u listen to that song please. My boyfriend is going through some SI right now and bc of you I feel like it’s actually going to be ok now. I had an ex kill himself and I didn’t get there on time, so this is really hard on me.
