Believe me anime was so not my thing then I was forced by my sister to watch AOT and no other show can compare to the masterpiece of AOT. The whole ost is really good too. Definitely recommend watching AOT because it gets crazier every season and more pieces of the puzzle come together. The show just has everything and this was my fave opening song but the whole soundtrack is full of great music and yes SIM is a Japanese band and they do many genres 🙌 ❤️
You should definitely check out Monster by Naoki Urasawa, def the best psychological/mystery/thriller/crime series ever, I'd even say that it's better than shows like Dexter, Mindhunter, and Hannibal.
I didn't give anime a chance until i was 33.. i watched death note and loved it, then i watched Attack on Titan and I've never seen a better show in my entire life
I was 30 when I first dived into it during covid. My bf convinced me to start with Sword Art Online, then Hunter X Hunter, then it was history from there! AoT I think created the biggest shock factor for me. I never expected an animation to get as deep, dark, and mysterious as this show. I was hooked!
I mean you're at lost if you don't watch anime, anime has everything that American cartoon can't do. from the manga to anime everything is slay!!! So much to see and read so entertaining and fun with full of coolest stuff
Yep, SiM is the band. The Rumbling is the opening theme song for the final (4th) season, part 2 of Attack on Titan. They've been around since 2004. Wikipedia describes their genres as being alternative metal, metalcore, ska punk and reggae rock.
To say SiM is metal is not totally correct, they are a mix of heavy metal, alternative, hip hop, ska, reggae, dub and punk. I did put them forward as a pop punk band. SiM is the name of the band, well the full name is Silence iz Mine, but they go more by SiM now. SiM are a popular band Japanese, but there are a lot of people dislike them at the same time, due to the way they mix styles, also a lot of their old fans don't like the way they have changed over the years to be a bit heavier. By the way I keep seeing people ask for Dir En Grey, just a quick warning, they do have videos out there that you may not want your daughter to watch. I don't know how old she is, but a few videos would could with an 18 or 21 label. I'm not saying do not react to them, as they are a good band, just they may not be suitable for younger eyes.
I watched Attack on Titan recently and OH GOD. I recommend it! My life changed! This is masterpiece! And the music in general in this anime is awesome!
I'm a life long fan of animation but I only hold a few cherished pieces i would reccomend to friends. AoT is one. Its a masterpiece and ultimately in my opinion a human commentary on forgiveness. Nice breakdown on the song. Subscribed.
Another recommendation, if I may... check out Coheed & Cambria, the song's called Welcome Home... it is melodic, but I got the feeling you're gonna love the guitars
Unfortunately I didn't find the channel until the J-metal stuff was near over and I've been working through the backlog to figure out where you guys were. Crustal Lake and SiM are the two I send people to see to start J-metalcore after that...Nocturnal Bloodlust, Prompts, Sailing Before the Wind, Falling Asleep all make appearances on my playlists. Coldrain is another but they tend to save harsh vocals for the breakdowns so might not be what you are looking for.
If both of you want to hear Japanese scream live Try (Jiluka - Kumari) LIVE on their official channel. But I recommend to (Jiluka - Kumari) MV first to react
Glad you liked the song wasn't sure if you would. I can't do alot of the harder stuff anymore myself. Not that Sim is super heavy. Something goes wonky with mi inner ear on the harder styles. Anyhow here's another band you could try not my cup of tea, but who knows you might love em. Imperial Circus Dead Decadance ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vIA5VSiUwFg.html edit: the label this band is on is heavy with copyright I believe might need to obscure the video a bit
Can you pls react to the band called coldrain try their songs like MAYDAY feat. Ryo Kinoshita from Crystal Lake, REVOLUTION, The Revelation, Gone, Born To Bleed, COEXIST, No Escape, ENVY, Final Destination, R.I.P., and to their newest recent songs like Cut Me, CALLING, Before I Go, Rabbit Hole, and many more songs.
I've seen their name a lot recently so definitely on my list. This video was shot a few weeks ago and we just now posted it so I did see SIM recommended as well. It just took awhile for us to edit and get it out.
I understand,Believe me Deviloof are heavy, when you have a chance do the song-Torture by them its the best for the first listen to this band, thanks, respect
Yousei Teikoku is one of my all-time favorite bands. Especially when Shiren (now with Unlucky Morpheus) was their guitarist. Their early stuff kicks so much ass. And so copyright protected =(
please god watch attack on titan, best story you'll ever experience, super thought provoking, terrific soundtrack, very gruesome and depressing. currently has 5 episodes on IMDB for top 15 episodes of any tv show ever. up there with breaking bad and game of thrones
