Great reaction guys! This came out in early 1986. I was 12 yrs old when it was released and mtv played the video like crazy. For more music like this you should react to more Wang Chung. "Let's Go" from 1986 and "Dance Hall Days" from 1984 are gems and they have their biggest hit with their crazy video "Everybody Have Fun Tonight".

I ‘member those days. Every guy was having new systems installed with box base speakers in the trunk and wired under the seating. Our way of saying that the factory installed stuff was garbage and we needed to hear music better.

It’s got a ’shimmy, shimmy, coco, pop’ double dutchin’ dance beat. . .but also that 1, 2 - 3, 1, 2 -3 beat of a waltz or the we will, we will, rock you stomp. Aren’t drum tracks fun? 😂 The Weeeeeeeee Aaaahhhhhhhh is the best part; like a kid on a roller coaster.

Funny how I listen to this on the way home. Great to know y'all mess with this. Even though I'm at 80's baby, I think ti was Vice City or San Andreas that played this song on the in-game radio stations. This song is timelessly bangin, with a black and white man collaborating in an unforunately short-lived success. But at least they gave us this tune to listen til the end of time, and to remind us we can do great things when unified

Sly Fox was a Duo and interracial at that. Cooper, a funk session musician, had previously been a vocalist with Parliament-Funkadelic and Camacho was a protégé of David Bowie. This was a "Jam" back then!
