Yes they’re Armenian. California has one of the biggest populations of Armenians. Glendale and LA are basically considered as “little” Armenia since it’s so populated by them

They are from glendale california, but they all have armenian roots. His voice, timing, flow and transportation is one of a kind. He also can rap a bit. My favorite vocalist, definately. The guitarist does the backround vocals, he sounds different but also nice in his way. In some songs you can clearly hear them both which produces amazing harmonies. Slight correction, none of them is actually from Armenia! They all have Armenian heritage and origins tho! Serge for example is a Lebanese Armenian, so his grand grandfarthers migrated from modern day turkey to Lebanon during the genocide, and the rest were born there!

I am a long time metal fan from Black Sabbath, Metallica, Megadeth thru Pantara all the way to Lamb of God and I tell people all the time this a top 10 metal song of all time. At least the breakdown is top 10 all time. you cant get many more transitions in a song.

Nandi has just recently started to come in to her own. Check out her battle last year with Dave Grohl then her performance in August 2021 with Foo Fighters as a very special guest.

System is always a good start when getting into heavier stuff. My favorite is probably Revenga. But they have alot of other querky tracks that are just as good. I got a couple of English rappers you might be interested Dabbla - Psychoville and Ocean Wisdom - Walkin. Probably won't suggest anything heavier till your more use to tempos and sounds of the Nu metal Genre. Avenged sevenfold has a good balance.

The lead singer. Is from Lebanon. Most of his songs. Must be talking about the words that are consistently going on over there.
