I loved this song when Bonnie did it and he did a MARVELOUS job with it! It's such a deep, emotional song! Most of us know what its like to love someone who, simply, cannot love you back and this song puts that scenario in such a beautiful way!

Teddy is absolutely amazing! He has one of the smoothest voices ever! I actually think Teddy Swims and Chris Kläfford are perhaps the two best "solo" male artists on RU-vid! And if you love one, you will love the other instantly! And they both have absolutely awesome beards and tattoos! 😄 Schnell! You should definitely make a comparison between Teddy and Chris! Teddy Swims does mostly covers. He does so many different genres of music, and they are all great! I especially like his cover of the old 70’s Bill Withers hit, “Use Me”. Give it a listen, it’s great! Love your videos👍

There's a reason why almost 20 million people have watched this video. He reminds me of Luther Vandross, with the grittiness in his voice along with the super richness. When you hear him talk, as he does at the end of this video, he's just a good ol' boy. But a supremely talented one. Don't judge a book by its cover!

Like I said in another reaction video comment: the lyrics in this song are so emotional, so sad, so full of love. And one of my fave Bonnie Raitt songs. She sings it beautifully. For me as a woman I really enjoy hearing it sung by a male artist. And what an artist! What amazing voice! The cover of 'Valerie' also excellent! Cant wait to hear more ❤

I agree with Jimmy Olsson about Teddy Swims and Chris Kläfford and I'd also include David Dramon from Disturbed. They all have beautiful voices and great rasp or grit. But here's the thing I've never heard David use soul like Teddy not even in Sound of Silence ... his emotion of choice is rage not surprising actually given what happened in his youth. To me the difference between a beautiful voice and an otherworldly singer is the individual's ability to share a piece of themselves thru their voice whether its something beautiful or tragic. Those 3 men are (to me) unique in that ability to tap into emotions they can't unlive or unsee but can share with song while maintaining technical perfection.
