Real Talk anybody that loves The Lox/DBlock like I do. Will tell you at one point in time from about 2003-2005 Sheek Louch Bar 4 Bar/ Punch Line 4 Punch Line was The Dopest Nigga in Hip-hop. His mixtapes we're insane 🔥 Sheek was hitting us with Bars & Punch Lines Nobody had ever heard them be said like that before. It had got to the point where I was like "Has Sheek surpassed Jada & Styles lyrically?" Cause Sheek had Always had the more aggressive Rhymes But Then he upgraded & started getting super lyrical with it. So for about 3yrs His mixtapes & first two albums Sheek was a Monster.

Sheek was my favorite as a kid. He always come on a track straight to the point and deliver a some hard line.

Sheek unfortunately is that rapper that most people forget to mention in their list of best rappers but when his name comes up then they like, "oh yeah," where it's props given. Sheek is still fire today but I'd say his verse on this and especially on Reservoir Dogs from Jay Z's Blueprint are not only his best but arguably some of the best verses of all time out of any rapper. It's okay to admit he had the best verse with this song and I'd bet if you asked Jada or P I'm sure they would agree. If it wasn't for DMX, Eminem, Ludacris and Ja Rule being hot at the time...We Are The Streets was the best album of 2000. That album pretty much became the template for the rest of the decade that dozens of rappers imitated for the rest of the decade. Even Hell Rell admitted it somewhere in an interview and went further to say Styles P is the hardest rapper in the game despite him being hard himself.
