People always say that but the first season was still an absolutely awful adaptation of the manga. Just because later seasons are even worse doesn't make the first one good, it still removes everything good about Ishida's writing

I love Unravel, by my favorite opening of all time is op 10 of Black Clover, "Black Catcher" from Vicke Blanka. I'm also loving soo much "White Noise" from Hige Dandism, the second opening of Tokyo Revengers. You should definitely check it out, it would be amazing!

idk why my brain decided to remember these songs since I haven't listened to them in years, but both Passion Riders from Animelo Summer Live 2016 and Starting STYLE from All Lantis are pretty great songs! They're not the kind of compilation videos you asked for, but they are still compilations of a buuunch of anime/voice actor artists collabing for a single song and just having a lot of fun while recording it! They are also a good test to see how many of them you can recognize lol but also, I'd love to see a reaction to Pierrot Dancin' by Granrodeo 👀

I don't know if you'll love the music like I do, but Love Live School Idol Project and Love Live Sunshine have some of the most impactful music I've listened to. The openings are also really good and cutesy. Definitely some my top anime recommendations. And if you enjoy those, there are also 2 other series in that franchise: Love Live Nijigasaki School Idol Club and Love Live Superstar

The openings for Tokyo Ghoul are fantastic but please do not watch the anime. It is probably one of the worst adaptations Studio Pierott has done to date. They crammed at least 100 chapters into 10 episodes with Tokyo Ghoul Re. Ideally, you put about 2 chapters per episode but 3 to even 5 chapter episodes happen too. So, I highly recommend that you just go and read the manga. Maybe one day, we will get a proper remake.
