Tom Jones is a Welsh singer who has one of the smoothest powerful voices around. And he was a showman too, in fact he was a big heart-throb with the ladies. He has so many hits such as "It's Not Unusual", "Delilah", "What's New Pussycat?", "Green, Green Grass of Home", "She's a Lady" etc. He covers a lot of genres. He is still performing & is a coach on "The Voice" UK version. He also had a variety show from 69 - 71 & had some of the biggest music stars at the time.

The man is 83 or 84 now and still sounds essentially the same when he sings. He does not bellow!

There's a clip of him singing this song about 4 years ago on the Voice UK with the son of the man who wrote this song for Tom, who was s contestant. He sounds great.

The guy who wrote this was Lonnie Donegan very well known in the 50's 60's and 70's in the UK. He was a songwriter/musician and started off in the 50's alongside others such as Tommy Steele when they all played Skiffle music.

Tom is from Wales. His first hit in the US & UK was It’s Not Unusual around 1965. He came in hot with that voice and charisma! My mom loved him so I’m familiar with his early career but I don’t remember hearing this lovely song. Tom had a variety show, played Vegas and collaborated with many artists in multiple genres over the years but I haven’t kept up with his career. (And it’s been a long one so, good on him!) Look up Tom Jones' performance of this song on The Voice UK - an impromtu performance with a contestant who it turned out was the son of the song writer - so very, very emotional. You should react to that performance. Sir Tom is in his 80s but still has the pipes.

I really don't like lazy people who haven't done the research on the artist. Tom Jones started out in the 60's in working men's clubs and pubs and has been at the top of the tree in entertainment across the world since. This uear marks nearly 60 years and all this chap says is he played himself in mars attacks and one of his songs was featured in the fresh prince of bel air. If you want our respect you earn it by doing the work.

This is a reaction of an artist, not a documentary. If you are looking for something like that, look elsewhere. I go in blind on artists I've never had a chance to check out in the past. Instead of complaining about how I do things, maybe look up how I do reactions before commenting such things. Oh and don't let the door hit you on the way out.
