FFDP,, especially through guitarist Zoltan Bathory (a Hungarian born immigrant to USA), have consistantly played multiple benefit shows around the world at overseas US military bases for the troops, and have supported and raised a shit ton of money for veteran related programs. Zoltan himself joined and supports an organization of US combat veterans that deploy to Africa to stop poaching of animals. If FFDP and Tom Macdonald toured together, I would literally pay an arm and a leg to see that show. They have so much in common, even if their musical styles are different.
