Welcome to the Tommy Johansson rabbit hole. There isn’t one cover he’s done that he hasn’t improved imo. His own band Majestica is phenomenal as well. His version of A Christmas Carol will blow you away. It’s 30C in 🇨🇦 & yes, I’m blasting metal Xmas music as well as his metal versions of traditional xmas songs 🤣 Subscribing as I love seeing people discover Tommy & hope to see more reactions. I never thought someone could improve Bohemian Rhapsody but he did ❤️
Really liked this one .. I always liked your Sabaton reactions .. but Tommy .. he is icing on the cake 😀 As so many have said already .. all he does is good so it’s more a matter of personal preference.. you take your pick on his channel 🔥😀 But with that said I do think there are a couple of songs that I would want to push as suggestions . The first is “ the light 20 year celebration” ..the reason is that that is a song that Tommy wrote himself at the age of 14-15 and first recorded at 18. He re-recorded it on his channel for the 20 year celebration of his band Reinxeed (now Majestica) .. it’s an amazing song!!!! The second is one of the covers of Gary Moore, the artist that is Tommy’s guitar hero and was the reason he decided to be guitarist at the age if 9. I really like Tommy’s “over the hills and far away “ but once again all of the Gary Moore songs on his channel are special .. if you like thunder rising, empty rooms, emerald or nuclear attack better .. go for one of those instead .. all very very good guitar work ☀️

This musical genius plays like 10 instruments. He does everything in his covers except filming. There is a ton of fantastic covers on his site just take a pick.
Our Tommy is a truly multitalented guy and if you wanna see a great deal of the instruments he plays you should check out his video to the song "Nu Grönskar Det" and yup that one is in swedish but well worth listening to. 😁
In short; more Tommy please! Tommy doesn't do ordinary covers, he does upgrades. When you've familiarized yourself with Tommy and his iwn band Majestica, then next step is the bassist of Majestica Chris David, who also has a good voice and his own band Wizdoom. The musical journey never ends...
Hey Al this is a great cover. Wish you would have checked the original steelheart version before you listened to this. Its crazy how good this is but im a steelheart fan so for me the original is still the best but still this was incredible.
Your notice there isn't to many differences tbh and it's easier to copy a song than actually write a song like this. Not saying his performance wasn't amazing and he has talent but I'd love to be listening to a song he wrote, I think if it's half as good as his voice then it would be a masterpiece.. also try steelheart I WILL NEVER LET YOU GO that is one of my fav steelheart songs
