With great power comes great responsibility, and Ren is truly a hero! He is using his growing powers and platform for so much more than simply creating brilliant music. Ren has said that he always had this feeling that he was meant to change the world for the better. So much that he defiantly yelled a challenge to evil into an empty room. And then he got sick… Ren has now shared the full story of his health journey in 8 video chapters leading up to the release of this song and what a journey it has been. If anyone hasn’t already watched them, I highly recommend you do. With all the chapters he is showing immense strength in sharing his story that is so hard to tell, being vulnerable and telling it because he hopes it will help others and raise awareness. And here he is with another rendition of that story, now told through music with a fire beat and delivering a message of hope. And his acoustic version is maybe even better! The world needs Ren 🐰🕳️

My dream is for one day to be an advocate alongside Ren for M.E. awareness. I'm have way through my own story in troubles. Without him, I had no idea what happened to me. It's too much to write, but one day I hope a miracle happens and I get a stem cell transplant. I'm 31 and I recently lost my job for missing too much work in the hospital, cuz I was stuck in there for a month straight. I also had to move back in with my mom. Lyme's disease is no joke. But for doctors they don't even test for it unless you ask for it. I've been put through the ringer. Anyways it's a whole thing. I mean even writing hurts my fingers to even write. I get such bad flare ups. Anyways one day I hope you see me on stage bringing awareness. It's really common here in Minnesota. But hardly anybody realized that's what's happening. Anyways I'm using voice to text and I can tell this is getting confusing. Anyways fantastic video, you're beautiful human!

Ren is returning to the UK at the moment, he may have to return to Canada again and still restricted in his diet but better than he was. He still has some pain but not as bad and still gets "brain fog".

I often wonder who/where Ren would be if he hadn't gotten sick. He had just signed with a label when it happened. Would they have commercialized him to the point he was mainstream and generic? Would he have become so successful? I would never wish ill on Ren or anyone but he really managed to turn a horror into compassion, strength and independence. Whether he ever signs with a label or decided to do something other (Broadway? Netflx? Movies?) he knows who he is now. I don't think he'd be destroyed by fame like he might have been at 18 when he started to get noticed.

One thing no one can take from Lance is what he did for cancer awareness. I think Lance was so liked at the time. Which some people might not even remember. Sure I think he would have still had some horrible PR years. If he would have fell on his sword from the beginning. Saying recovery & every one was doing it. We would view Lance completely different.

New subscriber here. I can relate to Ren's music so much. You see, my husband of 50 years has been struggling with Lyme Disease for the last twelve years. He just found out that is what's killing him slowly. Like Ren, he was told for many years that it was all in his mind. He suffers daily from the chronic pain it causes and is bedridden. Doctors have told him that it went so long without being diagnosed that it ravaged his entire system, and nothing can be done for him. It is because of this reason, I hate doctors. I didn't care for their "God like attitude" to begin with,, so you can imagine how I feel about them now. I am my husband's full time caregiver, and it hurts like hell to see him waste away before my eyes. Ren's music helps me cope. More awareness is definitely needed. Thanks for posting. Great reaction. I've been waiting a long time for someone to review trouble because I'm a proud Canadian from Calgary Alberta Canada and he does a lot of interviews and and work with the seminars here in Calgary Alberta and when he does the interviews in his hotel room he always make sure he has his back to the window so you can see the Calgary Tower this was filmed in Calgary during the winter you can tell by the landmarks or the stores and specially the sea train stations it's awesome to know that he doesn't just do all of his videos outside his front door
