Loved that. All of Geoff's solo work is superb & he says he isn't cool, most of us disagree! Next time you feel like a bit of Geoff I recommend his new one Shenandoah it's beautiful.
I remember The Animals singing this on Dick Clarks American Bandstand way back in the '60s. Also, love this version. Geoff makes each cover his own. He makes use of his range with 4 to 5 Geoffs.
Love this song! Geoff takes it to another level with his super bass, and just as impressive his high range. His "backup" vocals always make me smile, knowing he's going to drop a bass bomb soon! As always, really enjoy your commentary! Keep smiling!
His latest, Ain't No Sunshine, is his best yet (though I say that about each video). He arranged it so the music fits the lyrics better than the original, imho, and really shows his many talents.

You are very wise to hold back and spread out the goodness. That way you can use the time to skim the cream off the top of the catalogs of other artists. The result is a channel that never gets down into the so-so performances of artists that are heavily featured. "House of the Rising Sun" is, indeed, a classic -- dating back to 1933. Another classic that dates to 1947 and almost always features a deep male voice is "Sixteen Tons." A year ago, Geoff did a fantastic cover of "Sixteen Tons" (here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fzlT80jQ3lo.html ) and it's the same 4-Geoff chorus!
Watching your Jinjer reactions for the umpteenth time. They have a bunch of concerts in the US and Canada this spring if that's where you are - both opening for In This Moment and Slipknot at Knotfest shows and their own headlining shows at smaller venues. Cheers!
