I didn’t put furniture on the list because that is so subjective as to what someone may need. It’s really only Quebec where everyone takes their appliances with them. In the rest of Canada 99% of the time appliances stay with the house.
Hi Matthew, thanks for this video. Do you recommend to visit a place alone? I found a place on Kijiji and since my agent did not find this for me, I wanna go alone. I am a first home buyer who got his pre-approved. Do you think it is a good idea or at least I would need to have an inspector with me while visiting? I thought I could go and if I liked the place, then I would pay the inspection. Thanks in advance!
I would bring my agent along even if they didn’t find the house. They should be able to identify potential issues with the property if there are any. As well if you are going to have them negotiate with the seller it is best that they have seen the property.
