As a Belgian who lives in Seoul now for 5 years, It is funny to see Koreans experience my country. Makes me a bit nostalgic and appreciate the place I come from.
You chose the Brussels waffle. ❤ My favorite too, but tourist always go for the Liège waffle. The last one is dense and sweet. The Brussels waffle has yeast and it airy and has no sugar (so you put sugary toppings on it 😂).
I dont know why, but i liked the vlog.. you guys were open and took the time to visit our little country ! thank you! normally in 2/3 years i'm planning to go visit Seoul/Busan and maybe Jeju Island !
Nice video and welcome in Brussels :) However, why didn't you show more around Place Poelaert ? There's the justice Palace, and right next (we catch a glimpse of the orange/red building below ground level) is my former high school. Which is very funny because most tourists believe that because it sits right next to the Justice Palace, it must be the jail. Even my grandma thought that the first time... No wonder i had so much trouble during school... (there's zero green there, just walls)... yet it used to be the best school in brussels (or at least top 3). Next time, I suggest you try and move around the various municipalities which constitute Brussels-Capital. There are some really interesting places to see : the old center of Anderlecht (Saint-Guidon, Place de la Vaillance, Maison Erasme, Rue Porselein), the town hall of Saint-Gilles, the Bois de la Cambre... And if you're into trains, there's the Train World museum, built into the Schaerbeek railway station, the only good looking large station in Brussels :)
Glad you were just in front of my home xD, to be honest, using METRO tram and bus is the must convenient way to move in brussels it isnt crazy cheap but as far as I know its like 10 bucks per day per person / daily pass. Also where you were at Is the center and there is much more to see, but with the locomotion you can go further . See bruxelles like a flower , the center is cool for foreigners, but the petals/ communs around each have their own style try it if u can and It's like 1 hour max in transport to go from the southest point to the northest one. Also it's only one company hanlding that , so yeah BUS/TRAM/METRO get a daily ticket/ weekly ticket its worth the cost and yeah enjoy.
I'm from Brussels, you've choosen the right one ! Neuhaus (chocolate) and Dandoy (biscuit) are not cheap, but they are the best.... you can find a lot poor products shops everywhere around The Grand Place (poor quality for tourist who doesn't know for the first time) . You can also choose Leonidas chocolate shop next time ;)

Indeed topping on waffle is not needed and overpriced. Simple waffle is between 3 and 4€ at Dandoy. Excellent waffle can also be found at Gallet in rue neuve and they are slightly cheaper and doesn't sell topping at all, on the real belgian way.
It was a cool vlog !! I just subscribed 😉 Belgium is divided in 3 parts the north part of the country speaks Dutch and the south part speaks French. Brussels is in the north part but most people speak French there ahaha There also a another part that speaks German (Sorry for the long comment)
You should have visited the European area because Brussels is the administrative capital of the European Union. And the monument surely to be seen is the Atomium
@@cozyxworld for next time go to l'anatheme near main square or in the restaurant situated in "la bourse". And in case of dmaller budget, patatak on the side of the bourse building, amazing frites homemade sauces, home made fricadelle and craft beer on tap
Typical tourists thé got the Brussels really. Is reason that belgium don’t like Brussel and go to gent öre Antwerpen öre Brugge öre blankenbergen. And speak English in Brussel the are just lazy
Blanckenberghe seriously, the uggliest city on the seaside ( only majute house is worth the trip), on the coast De Haene is much beter. Agree for the other cities, even if you underrate Brussels, it's full of hidden gems outside of the touristic places

At first I thought that too but since I've worked in different countries on different continents, I'm glad I've lived there and I think that to appreciate life in brussels (where I come from), you have to know people to really get to know belgium as it's not the most touristy country.
