First time in Buenos Aires, Argentina (A general overview of what to expect)

Buenos Aires feels very different from the other cities I’ve visited in South America.
My first thought was that Buenos Aires is a blend between New York and Madrid.
The city is huge, it has two international airports, and public transport is so similar to what we have in Europe.
Here are my top impressions and tips after visiting Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina, for the first time.

Thanks for the fair review, Julia. We Argentinians tend to be exaggerated about safety because 30 years ago the safety levels were insanely high (people left their street doors open without keys). We always compare our situation with our best eras so we are never satisfied about it lol.

Buenos Aires is nicknamed: "Paris of America", and it's no coincidence: In mid-19th century Paris was demolished and rebuilt as we know it today, shortly after Buenos Aires was also demolished and rebuilt in the likeness of Paris, with its architectural styles of that time: beaux arts/academicism-art nouveau/deco, with the layout of large avenues/boulevards/ diagonals, and proliferation of parks, like Paris

Looks like you got a bit too much rain. I would say best seasons to visit Buenos Aires are in fact spring and fall. So not too hot and not too cold but still sunny.

Buenos Aires tiene un aire a Paris, Madrid, Milan, New York, pero se diferencia en que Madrid no tiene semejanza con Paris, ni Paris con New York, los porteños tenemos una ensalada de frutas deliciosas.

No puedo confirmar que Buenos Aires sea la mejor o peor ciudad del mundo pero si puedo asegurar que es distinta a todas.

Nope, the best times to visit BA are Spring or Autumn, Summer is too hot and stuffy, too humid. The best plan would be to visit BA at the end of Spring and then, just before Summer starts, pay a visit to the Atlantic coast where you'll find beaches, sea, beautiful cities (Pinamar, Mar del Plata) and fresh nights.

pff.. hasta la mejor comida coreana del mundo esta en bsas.. me lo dijo mi tio que comio en el resto mas caro de seul.. se queria morir.. hasta que volvio y comprobo que la comida coreana con ingredientes de argentina.. es insuperable. mi viejo ya habia vuelto una vez y esa vez fue mas precavido y se llevo una longaniza y unas criollitas.. que mato el primer dia claro.
