One city better than Chandigarh is a small town Jamshedpur (also known as Tatanagar) managed completely by Tatas. Surrounded by hills it’s a lot greener and better planned than Chandigarh. The irony is not many people know about it.
@@nileshtiwary6299 Jamshedpur is really nice city But Chandigarh alot more planned plus Chandigarh combines with Mohali+ zirakpur+ panchkula.. Zirakpur look like Mini Gurgaon literally. Moreover kasauli hill station is only 1 hour drive from Chandigarh which is a very green and beautiful hill station.
You are going to one of the most beautiful states in India which is not only very natural surreal but also safest among the Indian states..Hope you enjoy Himachal and ladakh
Thank you!! I didn’t make it up to Ladakh, but I LOVED Himachal Pradesh!!! Although it was very cold and snowy so I didn’t stay too long 😅 I’ll have some videos from there posted soon ❤️
I really appreciate you showing great tourist areas of India, rather than visiting slums and using a yellow tinted screen. There are some foreigners who are only interested in seeing slums in India with yellow tinted screen. There is a vlogger called Chrismustlist, he showed bad areas of USA and got millions of views. He even made vlogs on bad areas in India and only got a few hundred thousand views. He even showed bad areas in Thailand and got few thousand views. But, there is a difference, a lot of people are familiar with USA so if you show them 7th Ward in New Orleans, they are still familiar with Fats Dominos, French Quarter in New Orleans, Tulane University and Sazerac Whiskey. However, if you show them Dharavi they think entire India is like that. They are not familiar with Panaji, they don't know that 40% Catholics live with 60% Hindus in harmony, they don't know about BITS Goa, they don't know about Lorna and they don't know about Paul John Whiskey.
Honestly I didn’t know what to expect coming to India - especially because SO many people told me not to come here as a solo female traveler. But after being here almost 3 months, I’ve had such an amazing time!!! So hopefully more girls or any solo travelers see my videos and feel like they can come explore India safely 🥰
I actually referred myself to most of them 😅 just by looking stuff up and scrolling around Google maps and stuff. Also if I ever see a cool picture I bookmark it on my map. Chandigarh was actually kinda just random and I wanted to get to Kalka for the toy train but found a train from Rishikesh (where I was) to Chandigarh. Then I saw pictures of the rock garden and decided to spend a few days there. So happy I did! 😍😍😍
First time i like any western vlogger putting good music at the background in the video whereas all other foreign youtubers when they vlog in india add totally weird music in the video ur awesome.i prey u have a great time ahead in india .best of luck🙏🙏♥️
🤣 thank youuuu! I've been here almost 3 months now and I'm having an amazing time!! But I have sooo many videos I need to edit 😅 I'll try to keep the music good 🤣❤️
Chandigarh is my favorite city, when I was a kid I came here with my school for a picnic, and now i am currently studying here with my childhood friends
I spent the first 18 years of my life in Chandigarh & I still go there every summer. I'm so glad you had a great time! Also, you could have asked a local to help you rent a bike, we are all very friendly, honest, and accommodating :) Thank you for showing the beauty of chandigarh to the world!
Aww so cool that you still get to visit often! I think if I went to Chandigarh towards the end of my 3 months in India I would’ve asked someone….but this was only my second city in India so I was still hesitant and not sure what to expect 😅 but I had a great time there!!
nice vlog. since summer is around the corner, up in the mountains like Kullu, manali, dharamashala etc would be great places to avoid the scorching heat..be safe and happy travels
I’m so glad you have visited Chandigarh, hope you have enjoyed here, being a Chandigarhian I feel very proud that our city is clean and safe for everyone. Love how you admiring the beauty, again thanks for coming 😇
Wow! That city looks very interesting. I would enjoy those gardens I’m sure especially when all the roses are in bloom. Great video, Natalie. Take care! Stay safe! Love you!!❤️❤️❤️
Hi Denise, I reside near Chandigarh. Visit this rose garden in febuary at around 10-14 Feb as there is rose festival and all the flowers will be blooming.
Apart from rose garden there are so many different types of beautiful gardens the city is filled with gardens. If you are planning to come then do visit them too
Just saw your Shimla video. Arent you travelling the best parts of India, by best I mean best. I like how travellers from Foreign know what their interests are and they prepare themselves earlier when headed to India. I mean you can go to Delhi if you want torture but I would not like to go to Delhi. There are so many harsh, sad and bad places in cities like Delhi Mumbai Agra but then there cities like Chandigarh or Bangalore Ahmedabad and then Northern parts where you have been. I am loving this series ❤
Wow, nice to see you visiting Chandigarh because very few foreign tourists go to the city since it is not really known for its tourism.. I wish more could go so that when they leave India, they could have this impression that not all cities are polluted and dirty.. some are well maintained as well
Chandigarh was the first city I visited in India (after doing yoga school in Rishikesh) and I was amazed 😱 it wasn’t what I was expecting at all - I could live there 😍
If you live Chandigarh, you’ll probably think twice about moving to another country unless the prospects are really great. High standard of living, less crime, well planned, sense of community, abundant nature- drive some 50 km, you will find yourself amidst the mountains in HP. The only drawback is lack of high paying tech jobs, for that you have to live in the megacities.
Yes, Chandigarh was so nice 😍 although it was the first city I traveled in India (after my month of yoga in Rishikesh) so I’d love to go back now that I have more to compare it to!
It’s my beautiful city born and raised in Chandigarh. I moved to Canada in 2019 and just visited few months back. It’s the coolest city in India and I can’t wait to be there
Welcome to my hometown Natalie! Hope you had a great time. I remember when I first moved to New Zealand & saw Christchurch. I reminded me of Chandigarh and it felt like home.
She is safe .. take tension about your country....its chandigarh and world highest motorable road is only 700 km from here😅😅😅 i m from Chandigarh.. don't take tension
@@NataliesPassportu r in safe place . From chandigarh please visit Solan Shimla Manali...Leh Ladakh also umling la pass only 700km from chandigarh..world highest motorable road👍👍m also from Chandigarh
Thank goodness there are some nice people like you who show positive things about India.. Trust me there are more positives to show the world than the negatives which western media spreads
I completely agree!! I spent 3 months in India and had an amazing time! There were 100x more positives than negatives 😍 it’s sad people just focus on the bad stuff 🥺

Chandigarh is the 1st Planned city of India, you must say thanks to the person who suggested Chandigarh to you 😅 it is 1 of the most beautiful, cleanest and safest cities in India.
I just found it searching Google maps 🙈🤣🤣 my favorite thing to do when I travel is find cool places 😍 but then I also read all the comments and bookmark places that people mention so the list grows really quickly!
Suggest taking a tour of the Capitol Complex. Chandigarh, a model city till 20-30 years ago, struggles with problems common to most Indian cities - burgeoning traffic, crumbling infrastructure (albeit better than other urban centres in the country), and rising crime and pollution. Coming back to Capitol Complex, it is Corbusier's masterpiece and UN heritage site, hence the suggestion.
Love Chandigarh and the Elgante shopping mall absolutely stunning ❤and the tourists attractions are the same price for tourists as locals as it should be. Beautiful 😍 and agree very safe.
Our family is going to shift in Chandigarh very soon right across the country . I am afraid is Chandigarh would be a cool place or not lol but it's pretty
Omg between the biking/running paths and all the parks there?! As well as the cute cafes and stuff? I think it would be an amazing place to live! 😍 hopefully your family loves it too!
Omggg I’m from Chandigarh and I got so happy to see a foreigner making a vlog of Chandigarh. Thank you Natalie for showing people that there are better places in north India than Delhi! I’m so so happy to see it! I’m a student here and I feel safe, peaceful and amazing! The pasta you just had the Alfredo one in oven fresh that’s my favorite pasta in whole of Chandigarh and thanks for coming here and showing it to the people! I really wish I could have met you and could have gotten you the bicycle through my app😂😊😊
Aww thanks for watching 🥰 as Chandigarh was the second city I visited in India (after Rishikesh) I was so surprised by how nice it is! Although I wish you could’ve helped me with the bike 🥺🤣 I hadn’t had pasta is almost a month and that one was sooooo good!! So cool that it’s also your favorite! ❤️
@@NataliesPassportomlllll Natalie😭😭 ! I didn’t expect you’ll reply to me comment! Just saw it Thanks a lot. Also wanted to add something, please please visit Kashmir ( srinagar- also called heaven on earth) and Goa whenever you can ! These are India’s gems, beautiful, serene and lovely You can also ask me for suggestions 🙈🙈
I knowwww 😭 it was so cold when I was up north that I had to escape to the south and get warm! I wasn’t prepared to be so cold! 😱 hopefully I’ll make it there one day!
I love walking around new places tho! You get to see so much more than you would if you took a car! (Unless it’s super far or at night - like I got an Uber to the mall and back) 😅❤️
When I was a kid someone told me that these statues of Rock Garden got alive at night after 12 mid night. Now I am 45+ but still these statues looks scary. But I enjoying always whenever visit Rock Garden. I feel adventures Jurrasic Park like goosebumps whenever I see these statues eye to eye😂😂😂😂
🙈🤣🤣🤣 omg I believe that would be SO scary as a child!! I’d never heard anything about them before visiting, but I understand how they could be ‘creepy’ 😅
The Kalka-Shimla toy train route is highly congested, requiring tickets to be booked at least one month in advance. I hope you were able to secure a ticket, but renting a car to Shimla is also a convenient and cost-effective option. During my trip, I rented a car outside Kalka Railway Station due to the unavailability of train tickets.
I actually did get a ticket! 😍 the train ride was amazing - I told my parents they would LOVE it! 😍 I tried to vlog it, but honestly I think the vlog will be sooo bad cuz I felt so awkward vlogging by myself with all the families on the train 😅 so I might skip that and just do shimla 🤷♀️😅
@@NataliesPassport Yeah!! I noticed you seem a bit shy sometimes. Just wanted to say, don't let that hold you back! You've got such a great personality and your viewers love seeing your adventures. Embrace the camera and let your authentic self shine through! ✌️ By the way, if you're looking for some more amazing experiences like Kalka-Shimla, I highly recommend checking out the Darjeeling Toy Train and the Ooty Toy Train. Both are UNESCO World Heritage Sites and offer breathtaking views that your audience will absolutely adore. Keep up the fantastic work, and don't forget to enjoy every moment of your trip in India! Can't wait to see what you capture next! 👍
Awwww thanks so much 🥰🥺😭 but yeah, I’m really not that extroverted so sometimes vlogging isn’t fun, even tho I love traveling 😅🤣 I’ve been in India almost 3 months now and honestly it’s way more amazing (and more safe) than I expected!!! Like I’m having a great time. Which is probably part of the reason I’m not posting because I’d rather travel and see new cities than sit at home on my laptop 😅 BUT if I make it back here after Thailand I REALLY want to go to Darjeeling and the NE part of India 😍
@@NataliesPassport Absolutely! India is indeed a remarkably safe destination, and your reassurance about its safety is greatly appreciated. It's important to note that India's vast size and population, being the 7th largest country and the most populous, can sometimes lead to sensationalized news. However, such incidents are rare considering the sheer number of people. In my own experience living in India, I've never witnessed any crime firsthand. India's safety, combined with its cultural richness and warm hospitality, truly makes it a remarkable place to explore. Thank you for sharing your insights and looking forward to following along on your journey. ✌️
if you ever comeback to the city, me and my friends will give the resident experience. you had the tourist experience in this video and I am pretty sure if we do the aforementioned you will never want to leave the city. loved the video though
