Hello guy, welcome to Thailand. On the electric pole, we are separated into 3 steps the top one is high voltage and it is from the sub-station the second layer is low voltage and supplies to people's houses and the lower one is communication cable (Telephone and internet cable). it is very annoying or obstructive in sight and quite dangerous if it loosens from the hanger.
We mostly use Grab or Bolt I’ve noticed Bolt is usually cheaper in most places I’ve been to, both are like Uber. TukTuks are also great but always talk about the price to the driver first and make sure yous both understand what price is set so there won’t be any confusion and the last option which I like is to just rent out a scooter/moped I usually pay 200baht per day for renting one but prices vary, I’ve seen people renting them for 500baht a day but personally it’s not worth it for me as I don’t need a fast one nor a fancy one.
