Jimin loves art and you definitely can see it in his MVs the maze is actually representing the Fibonacci sequence, he loves double meanings and art and is a mathematical genius so you never know whats coming at you, I find him so interesting and love his mind boggling perceptions of things.the poem and surroundings represents a prison but where everyone can see you but you cant see them, thus their color of clothing etc..then at the end hes in white so hes set free..his entire album is great.

❣Jimin, growing up, since quite young age, even pre mid school, was always into hip hop & r&b music. Aside from Rain, Taeyang, & BoA, Korean idols, known not just for amazing vocals, but their dance ability, Jimin was also heavily influenced, with other role models, such as Chris Brown, & Usher. So it goes to follow he’d also appreciate other equally well known artists who also were amazing dancers & performers aside from vocal ability. It also goes without saying that Jimin, was indeed heavily influenced by MJ. He even taught Jin to moon dance for Dynamite MV, also Jimin was the one that suggested other MJ moves also for BTS song “Dynamite”. Jimin already at early age of 10, started studying hip hop at the renowned Just Dance Academy, in Busan, city where Jimin’s from, which teaches all the many different styles of hip hop. There is even a post made that shows a performance where young again 11 Jimin in 2007, not only performed already, on right front side of stage, but later on went in front and did a solo. JIMIN also competed, excelling in popping, & isolation moves, winning every competition. JIMIN also since a little boy, trained 8 yrs in various forms of martial arts: Taekwondo (blackbelt), Hapkido, Kendo, & Chinese martial arts. Side Note: When learning Taekwondo, as a little boy, I believe Jimin said that doing the splits was one of the first things required to be able to do. He said that he'd put his legs split, up against the wall for quite long, hrs at a time. The song, Jimin’s vocals, his dancing, the amazing choreography, also the amazing backup dancers, the lyrics he wrote, the music he composed as well as being involved in the production! Jimin was hands on, involved with every facet! (As opposed to certain other members. No wonder the in-house legendary producer for BigHit Pdogg, who worked with Jimin throughout the whole album, stated that “in 2023 K-pop will be ended by Park Jimin”! Seeing this made me that much more excited, for the full album, Jimin’s “FACE” released on March 24, along with his main song ‘Like Crazy’ MV. Jimin’s other songs “Face-Off”, “Alone”, as well as hidden track “Letter” are all equally amazing! Though Jimin’s song ‘Set Me Free Pt.2’, blew me away , meeting all my expectations & then some, I was also not totally surprised, because indeed Jimin is now ‘set free’ from the confines of being part of a group, to now be able to open up full throttle and ‘finally’ be able to release all that he held back for so many yrs! I had to get used to his vocals too, but the more I listened to it, the more I absolutely LOVED it. It did take a while for me to fully appreciate him like some of the other members, but I got there and now I'm OT7 and I adore Jimin so much 💜💜

The whole dance and the song is about the thoughts and fears he experienced due to covid, he even said he realised he was drinking a bit more than was normal for him. Not that he had a problem with drinking as he realised that he was drinking a bit more than he normal would have and went back to his normal amount.

BTS was about to embark on a world tour when all the lockdowns occured. He had been preparing with his bandmates rehearsing songs, choreography, building up his stamina, and then nothing. He felt lost, he lives off the adoration of his fans. This song is the result. Different Jimin solos include Filter, Promise, Letter, Like Crazy, and his recent release Closer than This. I’m glad you liked Set Me Free. Jimin has a very unique high voice, but he can also go low growl. But he’s a beautiful dancer. He went to an arts high school and studied contemporary dance for a few years, amongst other styles. The dance practice for this and Like Crazy are for live performances, he did do this live with all the dancers. Like crazy is an amazing song. You might like the Jimmy fallon live performance he does the english version while doing choreography that is not in the mv. FYI, they usually switch between English and Korean lyrics in all their songs. Jungkook is the only one who did full English album.jimin album tells a story from beginning to end on how he was feeling during the pandemic and his depression. Set me free, is him finally coming out of it in the end. I recommend the full album it is amazing.

In this song, you will hear his vocal range in high, mid, lower register and some rap. Jimin' is a counter tenor, his voice has very high harmonics, that is why he sings the same vocal notes that hits a higher octave. It is more striking and hits the ear more stridently. In a large group his voice will be the most outstanding. It requires a lot of control and strength to sing like this. Imho, his voice is even better than Micheal Jackson. Yes his individual swagger is so cool because he is just so talented. He is a truly gifted artist and a deep thinker. Everything about his Album, Face, it's lyrics, music composition, choreography and styling, Jimin was the mastermind behind it. Jimin is a master of the stage and is great at expressing the lyrics through his dance, it is allways about telling a story, for him. He is the best in all of Kpop in interpretive dancing. The panels represent a Prison/jail but it's in the round so there's no where to hide eg he can't hide from his darker thoughts those I'm not good enough thoughts. The not so nice things people have said about him eg that he can't sing. Remember he's had death threats, people saying the most disgusting sexual things about him because of his tattoo's (same thing said about Jungkook for the same reason their tattoo's). That haters used to say he was fat and untalented we know in the past some of those things really affected him and we don't know if those things also re appeared in his mind to plaque him again but we do know he felt he'd lost everything and friends due to covid because he said so when talking about the songs on his album. The music video is a picture of the battle of his mind.

"This is fire, this is dope!" No, BTS has 2 songs called Dope and Fire. I recommend you watch those in that order. Both have MVs, hype songs so prepare with plenty of water 😂 I think this song was a huge shock to ARMY as Jimin had always done such gentle, lovely songs and this was the first released off his album. Huge impact. The set is designed like a Panopticon, a circular prison where the inmates cannot hide at all. Jimin knows, as one of the nembers who received the most hate, that he will be watched by everyone but has decided he is ready to face that, he won't hide anymore. The heavily autotuned voice is his inner shadow, his fears and the pure voice is him fighting his fears back. I never thought about the Matrix connection but I think you could be right. Jimin is a dancer at heart, who has a beautiful voice. I am an old (45) newly minted BTS Army, I love BTS members, both their solo albums and the BTS albums. They are just an extension of each other, like they are so good doing their solo projects and beautiful together.

Jimin is fire his versatility is insane🔥 If u love choreography then: Run BTS, fire, blood sweat and tears, mic drop, dope, Dionysus, ON kinetic manifesto, 21st century girl butterfly, save me, Idol etc u can react to these dance practices after watching these MV's.
