If you want bar heavy, it’s good:am. It’s his most traditional hiphop album. Break the law, time flies, 100 grandkids and in the bag would be my recs. I wouldn’t particularly say his writing is extremely complex. More so in the field you were saying where he’s very laid back and paints a picture with his lyrics. If you’re expecting JID level writing and flow, you’re not gonna get that. But he’s perfected his area of music to a tea. Which is that very smooth and vibey music. And he has a song for any emotion and situation. Sad, happy, energetic, melancholy, depressed, lustful, love, ect. Dude was very in touch with his emotions
The samples he used in Faces were beyond fantastic. I was so happy when it finally came out on Spotify. I didn't like Circles as much. It felt like something was missing from the production

Common thing to say when someone doesn't know something, but not everyone lives the same life man. Especially since he passed, nothing has been pushing to garner attention to his stuff for a few years. Just glad he finally got to him!
A lot of older stuff getting recommended in here; but if you look out for bars go for "Salamander" by Mac. So many different facettes of bars with him tho.
Man he busted out of the coffin at the end because he was cheating death everyday with addiction. That was his self care. Could’ve been symbolic for him breaking free from it, or so he thought - considering it eventually took his life. Just my own interpretation though tbh.
