Mamamoo is top tier when it's come to their vocal, all of them have powerful and stable voice, my favorite track from them maybe starry night, it's not a strong song but the melody is just so lovely

As was mentioned in another comment, subtitles will almost always be on MVs from the official Mamamoo channel! RBW was originally a small company (still are considered mid-tier by most, although they've started acquiring other companies), so you might not find some of the old songs on the official channel using the typical search. (They'll instead be listed by the distributor, 1theK or Stone Music.) Go to their channel first before searching. :) All Mamamoo members are soloists with EPs, and they've promoted individually as well. Wheein debuted as a soloist under RBW, but she recently left the label (not the Mamamoo group though) and is now under THE L1VE. Wheein, Solar, and Moonbyul have all released music in 2022 (Moonbyul twice actually, an EP and single). Hwasa last released late 2021 and is likely currently preparing for another release. :)

The older MV's have subtitles if you get the version on Mamamoo's channel. For those to come up you need to go to their channel and search within it. For some reason general search in youtube only brings up the stone music version. All the extra credits are there during Mr Ambiguous becaus their CEO called in a bunch of favors to connect people with names in the business with the video to help it get attention. Mamamoo is RBW's first group, previously they had been just a production house. Yes the prank is totally real, I actually have some trouble watching that part. Um Oh Ah Yea Solar think Moonbyul is a guy until the very end when the woman comes in and says "Unnie (older sister) who is this woman?" At which point the OMG reaction. You'll here this song played at basically every Korean pride event. In live performances they always make some substitution to elicit the OMG. The members are all very supportive of LBGTQ. Decalcomanie is a type of artwork make by transfering copies of images. While the male actor is the same for the 4 kisses it's not intended to be a single person connecting with them sequentially but rather a set of parallel experiences of a first serious kiss (and possibly more). The music in that section is actually from a different track on the album "Memory" Starry Night was filmed in New Zealand. The end section is a different song "Be Calm". In 2018 they did a project called 4 colors/seasons where they did 4 mini albums starting with Starry Night for Spring, each member was responsible for one of the mini albums Hwasa did Yellow, Moonbyul Red with Egotistic as the title track, Solar did Blue with Wind Flower as the title track and Wheein did White with Gogobebe as the title track. Hip is about two things. First it's dis track to their haters. Second it's what would they be if they weren't Mamamoo. Hwasa is a solo Jazz Singer, a single mom and President. Moonbyul is a director, a choreographer and the CEO of a music company, Wheein is and indie singer song writer, an activist and an artist and Solar is a champion boxer, front man for a drag queen rock band and the daughter of the emperor's conbubine. In their early MV's they did the choreography themselves. At the end of 2018 with Gogobebe they used choreographers at One Million and challenged themselves to do more difficult choreographies. They still always sing live. The one thing they are actually bad at is lip syncing becaus they just never willingly do it.

Mamamoo is coming back for you, they dropped a teaser poster announcing their comeback with the 12th mini-album titled 'MIC ON’ on Oct 11 ,they will be promoting on music shows and many other ways as OT4. They are also preparing for Domestic and Overseas performance as well.

Thanks for react to the Vocal Queens of Kpop Mamamoo. They're the most talented and selfproduced female group in Kpop. All the members are songwriters, composers and producers.

The funny thing about Mamamoo's dancing is that they've always been great dancers but since they're a vocally focused group going hard wasn't a huge priority. They sing live on music shows & concerts and until 2019 used handmics exclusively, which limited dance options a bit. If you wanna see Mamamoo dance you have to look at live performances, which are awesome because they have a mix of choreos with and without dancers. Those massive heels from Decalcomanie were the norm for a long time and Mamamoo can actually run in them. 😂 The only other thing I have to impart about Mamamoo is that they're really small in real life but it's hard to tell because they have massive stage presence. 10 Loona songs? That's tough but doable. My recommendations: Love&Live, Sonatine, Girl Front, love4eva, Hi High(OT12 debut), Butterfly, Why Not, Star, PTT, and Hula Hoop(Japanese debut). This list is a mix of sub-unit songs and OT12 songs. There are just too many solos for me to pick any of those. Loona is such a special group in that there's a song for every mood and you can make some pretty gnarly playlists from just their discography.

Mamamoo in away is like a kpop of kpop groups everyone of the GG you mentioned at the start. Fan girl over Mamamoo. It was funny watching Twice sitting back on a stage to shy to greet Mamamoo. It hard to put a short narrative of their career because they have done so much and had so many issues with the social media. So notable things. Mamamoo has the most listened to musicology on streaming services. People don't just listen to the title songs but everything they put out. If you go out to a restaurant, bar, retail in South Korea. Chances are you will hear one of their songs. They have something for everyone. From the start they were required to have input in every aspect of their music.

I'd love to see you react to Purple Kiss, which is Mamamoo's sister group. They debuted a year ago. Videos would would be My Heart Skip a Beat, Can We Talk Again, Ponzona, Zombie, Pearls Before Swine, memeM, Pretty Psycho. They do many concepts but they are generally dark.

Nice overview of MMM MVs, tho of course this is only the tip of the iceberg. Mamamoo's discography is even more diverse than this selection of songs indicates and any moomoo (Mamamoo fan) will tell you they're better live because of their amazing, always live vocals, riveting stage presence, and bff team chemistry. Their dance practice videos are notoriously chaotic so they're mostly worth watching when you need a laugh. Moomoos have answered most of your questions so I'll just reply to a comment you made during Um Oh Ah Yeah (UOAY). Lol when you said "Consent!" The sexual harassment and outright assault in UOAY is one of those things most people don't mention but should because it's too blatant to ignore or pass off as fun & games. It's also one of the clues that Mamamoo has something more serious on their wacky collective mind than the farcical Twelfth Night meets SNL skit MV might lead you to believe. Imo they're using satirical comedy to make social commentary about two topics: male sexual misbehavior and prejudice against same sex relationships. The MV asks two questions: What if women misbehaved like guys do? and What if you thought you were straight but you fell for someone of the same gender? A few of the other clues in the MV include setting the dance scenes in what look like a barber shop and a public men's room and Solar's stereotypical characters. It took a while for me to figure out that MMM was not only invading male bodies in UOAY, they were also invading male-only spaces where you're likely to find smutty or disrespectful talk & graffiti about women. When Solar pursues Moonbyul she does so via 3 characters straight (so to speak) out of Straight Male Sexual Fantasyland: French Maid, Coffee, Tea or Me Stewardess (definitely not a "flight attendant" lol), and Hot to Trot Night Nurse. UOAY is an excellent early example of the way MMM uses their MVs to expand on the message and issues explored in the songs. Basically any time you see something that seems odd, out of place, or apparently random af in a MMM MV it's a big clue that there's more going on than meets the eye. Other examples in the MVs you saw include the jaguar and the pole dancing in Egotistic and the outlandish characters they play in Aya. This comment is already too long so I won't bore you with the long essay it would take to explain each of those things but if you have any specific questions I'd be happy to give you my 2 cents. Hope you check out more Mamamoo, one of the most fascinating and talented groups in kpop ... or anywhere else for that matter. 😂

Background on the Mr Ambiguous MV. In order to really make a splash, rbw wanted to really showcase their vocal prowess, and they also wanted to show off their industry insider connections to really make people pay attention. They brought in all sorts of famous industry veterans and artists for the MV. Then they had them sing live vocals for the MV and pranked them, with a veteran singer/producer absolutely shitting on their performance. Then of course you see the reveal in the MV. It's such a smart move on so many levels. It's funny, it shows a genuine reaction from them, it showcases just how damn good they are and how many industry veterans are willing to put their weight behind this no-name group. And it's a catchy song to boot.

For dance practices for Mamamoo (out of the ones you watched), I recommend "HIP" (plain clothes version), "Starry Night", and "Aya" I definitely recommend checking out their discography (on your own or react) because it's amazing, even CF songs.

Oh yes Mamamoo are amazing vocalists. I was going to suggest Girls' Generation because their 15th year anniversary (08/05) is coming up and they are coming with an album and coming back together after 5 years of solo activities. Into the New World (debut and most iconic song) Genie Gee Run Devil Run The Boys Mr Mr I Got A Boy You Think LionHeart All Night (last group release) They have a huge discography.

As I understand it, decalcomanie was imported into Korean from French and means about the same as the German word imported into English doppelganger, a near duplicate. Once Solar and Moonbyul were saying the same thing at the same time and Wheein called them decalcomanie.

thank you for reacting to them. you definitely should react to their solo, each of them have many good solo song, I also suggest their 4 season concert (it gonna blow your mind, they went wild in that concert, there were so much more than dancing and singing). Their behind the scene is wild and so funny (tipsy mamamoo, variety show, radio, dance practice). Stage is their playground, they are x1000 better on stage (and sometime they went really crazy, flirting, kissing each other)

Many Moos have commented this already, but be sure to watch the MVs on the *Mamamoo official channel* since that's where the MVs usually get subbed, and I hope you can watch the unsubbed MVs on your free time! _To add on to what I was saying:_ Mamamoo actually had two pre-debut songs called *"Peppermint Chocolate"* and *"Don''t Be Happy".* The first song is sung by all of them with two guests, while the 2nd one is their 'introduction to the industry' so it's only the Angel/Vocal Line (Solar and Wheein) singing but Hwasa and Byul get to be part of the actual introduction in the same video. Also, in 9:12 before *"Um Oh Ah Yeah"* their 1st comeback song is actually *"Piano Man"* which was released in November of 2014, just about 5 months after debut so it's closer to the debut song's style. For 14:42 Decalcomanié was actually the 2nd song they released in 2016, with the 1st one being *"You're the Best"* and that's the song that caused them to have their first ever win, and a PAK _(Perfect All Kill on all the big charts)._ The 2nd song they released in 2015 was *"Ah Oop"* which is such an under-rated song that they did with the soloist Esna, but they had some issues about the promotion of this song, which I'm not going to dive into in case I get anything wrong. *"Yes I Am"* is their only title track in 2017, but they released the MV *"Aze Gag"* that's basically telling dad jokes, and their concept is old office workers that try hard to be funny but comes off as... well, old. 30:05 since the whole of 2018 and a part of 2019 was their _"Four Seasons Four Colors"_ project year, I hope you can also check out *"Wind Flower"* and *"Gogobebe"* which are two of the four main songs of this project _(the other two were "Starry Night" and "Egotistic" which you reacted to here)_ 38:11 I hope you also get to check out *"Where Are We Now"* which is such a wonderful song that they did for their 7th anniversary _(the other one being the one you watched, Mumumumuch),_ but it might not suit your tastes because it's a melancholic ballad song, but I personally love it so I hope you do too! I hope you can watched all the MVs you missed out on, and many watch some MVs of their B-sides _(or listen to their B-sides on audio since most of them don't have MVs)_ because they're all great! Hi! I'm so impressed by how much you can observe even without pausing/replaying. So cute that you even have your notes. Mamamoo is an amazing group but all members are successful soloists as well. Next time, I hope you do a first-time listen to each member's music videos. It is VERY RARE for a group to have all members release their solo music. All of them have different music styles. Since you did 8 songs here, you can easily do 2 songs for each member. If I may recommend, here are my top picks: Solar - Spit It Out & Honey Moonbyul - Eclipse & Lunatic Wheein - Easy & Water Color Hwasa - Twit & Maria

There were times when MMM recorded themselves while on long car rides and all the weird stuff they did while somebody else drove them places. Somebody took a bunch of that footage and made a video. Should be searchable, it's just been too long since I watched it so I don't remember the channel or the exact title (sorry about my crappy memory). 'Mamamoo playing in the car' or some title like that. These four are just NUTS while they are together and the vocals on those car rides...I WISH I had been that driver! Literal front-row seats to a great and funny concert! :D

As seen in this video that you are not afraid to do long reactions with 8 songs, could I be so bold and recommend you do 4 different videos and react to 8 songs per girl? That's because all 4 of them are not just excellent as THE Best vocal girl group in idol KPOP, but they are amazing soloists as well, which shows totally different sides of these girls as compared to the vocals seen/heard in their MMM songs. Until rather recently wheein didn't promote her songs, so they flew under many radars Subtitles: subs for their early works especially can be hit or miss. They always upload on two channels, the official and a music distributor, either 1thek or stone music The official channel can be hard to find sometimes since they only put titles in Korean for way too long, but is best bet for subs For "Mr ambiguous", yes 'ememoh' is 'ambiguous' No, those crew listed weren't actually crew, but other known artists sort of doing cameos for the new group For "um oh ah yeah": Storyline is 'girl falls in love with guy, chases guy, finds out guy is girl, chases her anyway', helping cement them as a favorite among the Korean LGBT community. You are guaranteed to hear Mamamoo performed at pride festivals, especially this song (They've done a lot in support of the community, both big and small) The video itself can be taken as a 'what if women did the stuff guys often get away with' "Decalcomanie" was often used by Koreans to describe when lovers start to look and act alike, referring to the art style The theme for this mv is basically women wanting to experience the blossoming after a first kiss, a Korean PG little sibling to the general 'after first sex' (Also, the actor is gay. He was picked specifically to help the girls not be nervous in the kiss scenes. Which didn't quite work, there are hilarious behind the scenes) The song during kiss scenes is "draw draw draw" from the same album. Very much a Christmas song Also, the mv was kind of a turning point. It was the first time zany bros filmed one of their videos, and the CEOs of both companies became quite good friends, with zb filming nearly every mv for every rbw artist since "Starry night" was filmed in new Zealand and is the start of their 4 seasons, 4 colors project, where they released 4 albums in a year, each focusing on a color, a season and a member of the group (by giving her a solo song on the album). That bit at the end is hwasa's solo song for the album, "be calm" "Starry night" is on the 'yellow flower's album for spring, yellow, hwasa ' red moon' was next for moonbyul, red and summer. "egotistic" is the title for it 'blue;s' was third: blue, autumn, solar, with "wind flower" as title (you may really like the mv, an homage to a Hong Kong director) 'white wind' wrapped the project up with white, winter and wheein and the title track "gogo bebe" "Egotistic" is all about heat, but in different ways than expected for a summer song. It's also one of their many self-esteem boosting songs, not expected for a breakup song "Hip" is all about both female empowerment and self empowerment, two common themes in Mamamoo's music. It is also a diss track to the haters, while also trying to help uplift them,hoping they realize how to better themselves rather than tear others down (Mamamoo is too good for this world, esp hwasa who cowrote the song based on her own experience) "Mumumumuch" is a song dedicated to the fans, it was released for their 7th anniversary. And lots of easter eggs throughout the video reference a lot of their earlier work, both group and solo And funny you mention the dancing. They used to create all their own choreo, so focused on stuff that didn't mess with their singing. Starting with "gogo bebe", they started using established, famous choreographers for their title tracks, both group and solo, to show they all can dance, too

Mamamoo are the Queens of Queens A group with a rapper that is main vocalist material and vocalists that are all amazing rappers They are extrem crackheads and they have like one dance practice video where they don't joke around all the time They all have a lot of solo songs and give us Moomoos new content constantly... Their latest solo comebacks started with hwasa in November, January with wheein and moonbyul, March with solar and moonbyul again in April. In between they published many OSTs, remakes or featured in songs. Beside all the musical contant Solar, Moonbyul and Wheein have RU-vid channels (Solarsido, Moonbyul2da, Whee In) with weekly updates.

Good choice of videos. Mamamoo really are in the best of the best with vocal and performance talent. They had to be. History on them, RBW is small and back in 2013/2014 they didnt have massive advertising, they had to do things like busk in the street and sing in malls to get known. You and I call them extremely beautiful but in korea they are all 5.2 98 lb puny girls with so called flaws, they were told because they are not considered korean beautiful the only way to succeed would be to become the best vocalists ever and performers. Rough beginning but lucky for the world they really did become the best vocalists and performers and the stereotype is long gone. All 4 of them came out with solo albums. Solar is my bias so I follow her more, she is currently playing the lead in the musical Mata Hari, had some recent OSTs like the english version of the song Adrenaline from the show vincenzo and her album come back was March with honey main song and songs like Big Booty which is Jazz and she wrote it and 3 of the other songs. Moonbyul and Wheein both had their come back in January and its a 2nd solo for both of them, Hwasa's comeback was December and the Im a Bitch song is a great MV with a traditional korean music and dance break in it. If you do the solo's watch Solar's Face performance video it is all 5 songs live and performing. And one last thing, that vocal talent you heard, they do it live just as well if not better and their concerts are 3 and 4 hours long. I saw their last live online concert, 3 hours and at the end still performing perfectly, Solar still belting it out, hwasa, wheein and moonbyul still singing like it was the beginning of the show. There are not many groups who can do live vocals that well and perform at their level. They are also a bit crazy with the over the top shows, rolling in on thrones, dressed as boogers or puppies, playing drums, pole dancing, covers of songs from BTS ariana grande that are insane. Moonbyul and Solar have youtube channels, moonbyul is new but Solar has been at it for 4 years and on there you will see her do insanely good covers like michael jackson man in the mirror, acapellas of lady gaga and other songs. I suggest diving into the live performances next.

Thank you for your reaction I rlly enjoyed it. As u saw they are very versatile I hope they will do a ot4 cb soon they rlly focused this year on their solo comebacks and I miss them as a package but they are as soloists strong as well as a group these girls are so different but execute so well together I pretty much can say no one is doing it like Mamamoo. Saw them live it was amazing.

Mamamoo dance practices are hilarious, highly recommend. Decalcomanie's dance is actually superior to the MV, IMO. Mamamoo's discography is extensive, so you can spend a lot of time with them. But if you want to check out other girl groups, you should check out some of the older groups that have disbanded, like Girl's Day (recommend Female President, Expect, and Something, all sexy concept, not cute), T-ara (Roly-Poly, Lovey Dovey, Sugar Free), Kara (Step, Honey, Pretty Girl), and Crayon Pop (Bar Bar Bar, Doo Doom Chit, Dancing All Night). When you're ready to branch out, check out SNH48, a Chinese sister group to Japan's AKB48. I recommend the songs Four Seasons, Dawn of Naples, and Manatsu No Sounds Good, which has 32 Chinese girls dancing on a beach in bikinis. What's not to like?
