I just love this song. The Eras Tour version has backup dancers who look like they’re literally soulmates or something, the way they dance together. Absolutely beautiful. And the music video has so many cute, goofy moments… It’s so tender. The vulnerability in those questions-can I go where you go, can we always be this close-reminds me of those early days with my partners. And now our daughter loves to watch this music video with me. Gets me all choked up, not gonna lie.

A lot of people use Lover as a wedding song and I can totally see why. It's super romantic. The fishbowl scene I always took to represent her relationship and how she always felt as though she were on display to the world, but it doesn't matter as long as they were together. I could be wrong, though. 😅 Also, if you react to King of My Heart Live from her Rep tour, you'll see Owenn again. He is one of her dancers, or he was and is an opening act on her current Eras tour. single guy here, and this is my fav T-Swift song. Im not much of a swiftie, preferring hard rock and metal (esp old school) but this is a real nice sounding tune and makes me think about my dream relationship and how perfect it would be for a wedding
I totally get the same vibe that the relationship was more on her end than his. Which I believe is partly why it didn't work out. There are other songs from reputation that give me the same vibe. With Travis it feels different like they are both insanely in love with each other. So hopefully it lasts. Thanks for your reaction, I had this epiphany about a month ago.
