Canibus - "Poet Laureate II" is performed in 3rd person. He raps from the perspective of a person observing Canibus rap. Top Quality stuff.

No return from the same album is amazing too. 3 verses and each verse is a different story about himself. Be careful though, albums from the orchard or babygrande may be deleted due to copyright

@@divinethought4808 My favorite Canibus line is "There's a misconception that a movement in any direction is progression." that, and "If I die, and you wake up-- I'm still alive." That's not even a whole bar, but it's deeper than most musician's catalogue.

I was 18 when this album came out and channel zero opened my eyes. It gave me chills. I'm a cani superfan and he had like an occult following when I was young. His first 5 or 6 albums are phenomenal! Great choice !

Heads up that Canibus doesn’t really believe in this stuff anymore, but he has referenced it recently because it was ahead of its time, and it really makes you think. Edit: the alien parts he doesn’t believe

I'm really glad you were put on this track bro. I've loved this track since I was a young and I've always tried to show this track to others. It's a classic in my opinion. Another track that I'd recommend from that album is Buckingham Palace. Keep up the good work man 👍

The 'they' that The Most High is talking about is HIM (HIS Holy Word) and the Heavenly angels who were created before mankind.

@@PRSPR they isn’t the angels it’s The Father and the Son. Yashua would be the first creation of the father. Elohim means many things depending on the context in the Bible. There is also reference to gods but they aren’t GOD the Father(Abba), Yahweh, Yahuah, YHWH, etc. also a king or queen would always reference themself as WE, and would call themselves us. Meaning they are both the person who is King, as well as the office of King itself…salute
