Thanks for this. Saw CSN by themselves and with Neil Young, and their voices are as complementary today as they were when they got together in the late 1960s. Serious and seriously skilled musicians.
One of the best vocal harmonizing acts, ever. Every member of the act has their own version of their origin story, but they all agree it was magic when they first sang together. That was 1968. They're in their 50s at this point (maybe older), sometime in the late 1980s, or 90s... The whole band has a history of drug use. Graham Nash, in the center, had a bad speed habit that nearly did him in. People used to call them Downers, Weed & Speed, sort of tongue in cheek. Regardless, or despite the fact, they recorded some amazing songs, and plenty of them.
