What a rabbit hole you have found. You are both going to be mesmerised by Dimash every song he does, He sings all genres just perfectly, from opera to rap in about 14 different languages. This was only released two days ago so you have arrived at his latest performance. You are going to be very busy discovering a man with a six octave range and one of the nicest people on the planet. He is wonderful in every way. I am 79 years old and only ever been to one concert in my life and that was a Dimash concert in Kuala Lumpur last June. Great reaction, you two; enjoy your Dimash journey - it is a very long one - destination unknown!!

Dimash has been studying music since he was 5 years old. He has a master's degree in composition and is working on his doctorate in musicology. Considered by his teachers to have absolute pitch. He handles all vocal techniques and has absolute control of his voice and breathing. His vocal range goes from baritone to soprano. Multi-instrumentalist, singer and composer. So far we have heard him sing on stage in 13 languages: Kazakh, Russian, Chinese (Mandarin), Italian, English, French, Ukrainian, Turkish, Serbian, Kyrgyz, Japanese, Spanish, Armenian. Offstage in Arabic and German. The most versatile I know and has songs from different genres, from opera to rap. In addition, he is a great performer, unmatched when it comes to transmitting emotions and feelings in his songs and videos. His talent has no limit: he has the most insane vocal skills of our era, a deep understanding of music, a powerful charisma and stage presence, and beyond that, an extraordinary beautiful personality. He can sing everything, in every registers (from bass to high soprano) in every genre (pop, rock, folk, funk, opera, rap, balads...). He is unique, an absolute genius and the ultimate performer. There are three songs that Dimash premiered at New Wave International Competition for young pop singers in Sochi Russia in 2021, where Dimash was a judge and guest performer, that shows you what Dimash is capable of as a brief taste into his very deep waters. First was the premier of "Stranger", second "Fly Away", then third "Ave Maria" a lyric less vocalese. All composed for Dimash's extraordinary voice. Each song has a meaning for Dimash and his career and taken together as a trio of work, his philosophy on how he sees his world. Then go on to his calling card, his own spectacular cover of the French rock/opera song "SOS" which is one of the most difficult songs to sing. Many have tried to imitate Dimash's version and have failed to reach Dimash's level of mastery.

That's a great starting song for dimash. As an American I hope he does more stuff like this simply because it's more "normy" friendly, and I think will be easy to use to introduce him to people who may not like or appreciate his usually much more operatic style. If you want a good contrast in styles check out olimpico, this dude has full command of any vocal thing he wants to do, he does basically every style of music except "country" and I'm sure he could.

You need to listen to more of Dimash, He is the greatest singer in the world. He has crossed genres , he has this unique voice, This song is R&B, soul, pop, opera ect. He does it all. That solo guitar is amazing. I'm glad you finally listened to him. He has a musical background since childhood. Songs, Under One Sky, Passion, SOS, Scream, oh so many. Olympico. and his concerts. I recommend you watch his MV 'The Story Of One Sky'. Dimash worked for three years on this composition while working on other songs and concerts. He is also the scriptwriter of the MV, a high-quality video production that cost 7 million dollars. 300 people worked on this MV, more than 100 between orchestra and choirs. A video with a strong and necessary message for everyone, it is a masterpiece. With what we are seeing these days it seems that humanity is dehumanized. The world could use many more Dimash. Everyone should watch this video and be aware. That was Dimash's goal when he did it.

Don't worry, they'll learn on the way 😅 I mean, honestly, when someone hasn't heard Dimash singing, with his all spectrum, HOW do you expect that person to understand, when all isn't shown? Please get down from the high besserwisser manners, give the kids a chance. They picked the latest song, like young people often do, to check out the current status. They got Dimash's 'current' status, but far from all, which they didn't know. WHY is it so important that all people start with SOS? Let them take their time, and work themselves up to SOS, Ave Maria, Stranger etc. Now I happen to know they'll watch SOS after this, but I haven't seen it yet. Anyway, chill down. No one can know, when not learned. If you want to be surprised, give a TRUE first time reaction, blank, Google and Wiki can wait.

Dimash has millions of fans all over the world, including the US. There are fans from 60 or more countries at his concerts. Dimash is classically trained. He has his Masters and working towards his PHD. He combines all genres of music in one song and sings any genre including rap. Another fun video is Be With Me. Other suggestions are Stranger(New Wave), All By Myself(New York concert), the first song I ever heard him sing in 2017, Adgio. He was asked to participate in singing competition in China. It was for professional singers of all ages. Dimash was 22, the youngest to ever be on the show. He was also the first non Chinese to take part. He had to sing first in round one. No one knew who he was. He wasn’t a professional singer, just a boy from who had won many singing contests in his country. He sang the song SOS. It’s a French song. Dimash doesn’t speak French. He was on a Chinese show and didn’t speak a word of Chinese. He won the first round and literally overnight, his world changed. He came in second at the end of the contest. His fans, who he calls Dears, have fan clubs all over the world. He doesn’t sing the bubblegum music we hear on the radio in the US. Hopefully people in the US and other countries will open their ears and hear this phenomenon. There is no other singer who can do what he does. Give him a chance. You seem to have appreciated the talent in this video. Everything he does is different. Have fun.

People travel the world to see him on concert, some for 38 hours underway from the other side of the world. In every concert you have between 50 and 80 nationalities from everywhere. I saw him In Düsseldorf two years ago and that is absolutely unforgettable and the best of the best that you can ever experience. You have about 200 masterpieces to go….. and after 10, everybody will still say “you ain’t seen nothing yet “

Dimash has only 1 style "Wow" but many vocal techniques to create this style.😂🤭 Dimash is his own genre but includes elements of Opera, Rock, Metal, Pop, EDM, R&B, Jazz, Rap, and Folk in his very creative music. Keep going, keep going!!! If this is for first Dimash, you have missed so much. He can do ANY style and this song is fun, but not even close to his vocal talent or range. Always different and always a surprise with Dimash. SOS, Stranger, Ikainide, gosh, so many. What first made him get internationally noticed though was a show in China called I Singer. Start there, and then enjoy going down the rabbit hole!

People who are new are going to think this is a stretch but Dimash is probably the best vocalists alive right now maybe ever.. I don't know anyone who has the range Dimash does...he likes to blend many genres together taking his training with opera and classical music and putting those elements into Pop and R&B jazzy type music, he also likes to add traditional Kazakh instrumentals in some if his music and he's incredibly humble at 29 the song that made him viral was probably S.O.S he sang it on an Chinese singing competition

Dimash es un espectáculo...y en concierto es aún mejor.....esto no es nada en cuanto a su musica....hace como un mes canto a duo com Plácido Domingo....saco un acústico....estreno esta canción y otra mas en su con concierto fe Hong Kong.....es embajador de la paz...muy activo en conferencias y forun donde es invitado...es musico ....que mas se le puedepedir ...a nosotros los latinos nos regaló una cansion en español letra y musica compuesta por él....en el lado turco se le escucha en las fiestas electrónicas con Weekend...es un camaleón musical....

This song doesn't show his range AT ALL, believe it or not.... The songs "Stranger" and "SOS" (you should go with the Digital Show - version!) does a much better job at that! 😅 Many vocal coaches holds him as the "best" vocalist in the world actually ( !! ). You get the wide range in almost every performance, but he sings in more than 15 languages including Chinese and Japanese. This was obviously different from everything else. He woke up as a super star after performing "S.O.S." on a Chinese talent competition called "The Singer" in 2017, so I think that's the best place to start. Just a week or so ago he released a quieter song, "Omir," with his 17-year-old brother Mansur on guitar while he played piano and sang. He plays at least 7 instruments, but mostly sings while someone else plays. He composed the vampire song, but usually doesn't write the lyrics due to his not quite fluent English. We fans are his Dears, and we'd love you to react to some more very soon. He also recently performed opera with Placedo Domingo, a lifelong dream of his.

What an introduction to the world of Dimash! He won several regional competitions before blowing up overnight in 2017 on China's "Singer" competition with his performance of S.O.S. He spoke Khazak and Russian at the time, but has since learned some English and Mandarin. He sings in multiple languages, last count 16. His fan base were named "Dears" by Dimash. I'm sure others will give you song suggestions and fill you in on his details.

Ah, but was it a dream? Look at the headline in the paper! As for Dimash's range, this song doesn't show his whole range. He has a reported 7.2 range & he sings all genres from Opera to pop & everything inbetween. He has a worldwide fan base who travel all over the globe to see his concerts & he regularly sells out arenas. He calls his fans his Dears as, he says we are all very dear to him, like family. He is a very humble, respectful young man & never fails to thank his Dears for their support as, he says, he would have nothing to do without his audience. Oh, he also sings in 14 languages, is a multi-instrumentalist and composer. He was offered a place in the Astana Opera House but had already decided he wanted to pursue a neo-classic/crossover style which he does to perfection. If you want to see his amazing vocal range please look for SOS, Stranger, Sinful Passion & Olimpico. You will be amazed at what he does, I'm sure. Welcome, boys. You have a lot to catch up on. Start with SOS, then maybe Opera 2 ( he is only 22 here), then Stranger, a more recent song.. Those are good to start with. SOS was his big break in China. Overnight, he had 600 million hits, and it launched his international career. Enjoy the ride. We will be watching. Cheers.

Welcome to the world of Dimash! Unfortunately you probably started in reverse in terms of his evolution into the artist he is today, you're in for a roller coaster if you choose to stay on it! This song is amazing and shows how much Dimash has matured and is also stretching into new genres and musical styles. He has done poppy stuff before (see the music video for Screaming and also Be Wth Me), but much of what he has done in his early career some call "popera", he often brings in classical aspects into his songs. The joke has been that he must not be human but an alien, this video shows us that he's actually been a vampire all along, and that sort of makes sense now. ;-) You're in for a blast with Dimash!
