Liliac has done 3 Dio covers (Holy Diver, Rainbow in the Dark, The Last in Line), Dio is Melody's idol. They also did Janis Joplin's Piece of my Heart (Live in Cumming GA).
Liliac is 100% Independent and do everything in-house. Dad shoots the videos and Sam (Lead guitar) edits. With support from their Fangs (fans) on Patreon and from ticket and merch sales.
So they have an 6 song EP out "Chain Of Thorns" and a 13 song LP out "Queen Of Hearts". Their 3 album should be coming out later this year. All of their originals are phenomenal as well as their covers. Liliac call their style ”vamp metal” claiming their transylvanian roots; 'cause their parents emigrated in early 90's from Cluj area, in the heart of Transylvania, to the USA. Welcome to LILIAC! They have many excellent covers and are about to release their third album of originals that are even better. A totally unsigned band doing all writing, playing and production on their own. They are putting the screw you to the big corporate music mongers and now world wide known. The concerts are first class and I have been to two. This retirement aged rocker is very excited and in love with everything these siblings have done.
They are an independent band that want to stay independent. Dio is the inspiration for Melody. They do several Dio covers. The cover of Crazy Train by Ozzy will show their younger days. They started out on the Santa Monica pier every weekend for several years. Sam, lead guitar is 22, Aby, drums is just turned 22, Melody, lead vocals recently turned 20, Ethan, bass and rythm guitar in earlier songs is 15 and Justin on keys is 14.
Sam turns 23 next month and he has fast become my favorite guitar player so far. And I've been in the music biz for 40+ years and have changed up from time to time. The latest for many years was my friend, Matthias Jabs, of Scorpions...but since Sam came along, well he has me chilled to the bone and he is a future guitar Legend. BTW, this band has met some pretty amazing rockers, some of them their inspirations. Example: When Tool opened for Liliac a few months back, Zakk Wylde was there and came back stage to meet Liliac OF ALL PEOPLE he is one of Sam's inspirations!! smh They have been adopted by Vinny Appice of Black Sabbath and given high praise by ones such as Lzzy Hale of Halestorm. They get criticized that they are a band stuck in the 80s with their drama and cheesy acting in their vids, and they will not go anywhere. Well they are over 800K on FB and many vids over 1M views, so I don't know....what do you think?

I am 52 so everything they do is from around the time I was in high school. I think they have a great future and hope they are able to realize all their dreams.

Dear Father is an original from Liliac. Justin the keyboard player is the youngest at age 13 and Sam the guitarist is the oldest at age 21 now. Very impressive for their age. Dear Father also has a video. Another great original they do with video is Nothing and We are the Children.

Welcome to Liliac. You have the pronunciation correct, well done. Seems to be hard for some to see the second "i" in the name. Liliac is Romanian for bat. Everything these kids have done is great. Pick any cover and they crush it. Pick any original and you'll hear their true shine come through. "The Last In Line" is prob one of their best efforts on a cover to date. And the story behind it is just as golden. "Piece Of My Heart" live in Cumming GA is my favorite cover. "We Are The Children" is an awesome original and is widely considered their anthem. Really though, pick any original and you'll be impressed just as you were with "Dear Father", which (as an FYI) was written about Heavenly Father. "Mars" live in Cumming GA is a good intro to the band. You get to see them in their element, on stage and having a great time. Abigail's smile (drummer) steals the show. Um, no, they don't primarily do covers. They currently have 20 original songs across a 7 song EP and 13 song LP with a new album coming very shortly. But the did start out doing covers and still do. The vocalist's main inspiration is Ronnie James Dio.

No, they don't have a record deal, and they prefer it to stay that way. They produce all their own stuff. How? Their father is a professional music producer and sound engineer. They know what they are doing on the technical end...as you can see. They auditioned for America's Got Talent for the the 2020 season, they made it thru the initial audition with 4 "yes'es", but then Covid hit, and when the producers went to Zoom performances, the band said, "Nope...the sound doesn't work well through Zoom, so we will bow out of the comoetition." And then they discovered a dirty little secret about these talent shows. If you win, they literally own your ass for 5 years...they get 90 some odd percent of your profits. And Liliac said, "the hell with that" so they just decided to remain independent so they could write their own music the way they wanted.

All right brother I'm going to tell you about this band I've been listening to him most of my life they started on the pier in California and did Crazy Train they started to do deal covers and they doing better than Dale cuz she loves Dio they do Metallica they do Ozzy they do so many of their own songs as well they got albums of just their own songs believe me when I tell you this the guitar players 23 the drummers 22 the lead singers 20 and the other two are 15 or 14/8 the keyboard player and the bass player 15 or 14 something like that but they are bad to the bone they're the best heavy metal band going today I'm telling you I've been listening to heavy metal since the 80s I've seen 56 groups I know what I'm talking about they are the best going today

Awww I am so sad you didn't do the MV of Dear Father, do it later tho, you will freak! I always love hearing new Liliac Reactors, it's great fun when they are stunned and love them. They just dropped a new cover yesterday "Close My Eyes Forever" with a male vocalist, Mercury Cross of Wiccan who they met on tour and collabed on this cover. This to me is their best yet. I do have a love for Master Of Puppets cuz Sam the guitar player busted his butt learning the complicated compositions of the solos and they are his best to me. With that said, most of their originals are so on fire that I can't wait for their new album to drop with more originals. BTW if you see them now, they are young and experimenting and trying to find their style, so don't be too shocked. Personally, I sure hope they go back to their rock image that goes with their rock music. Anyway, dive deep my friend, you have a lot to discover with these kids. Rawk on and rawk hard!
I get the whole listen to the audio only for the 1st time thing. I do that a lot by walking in another room when I play music off RU-vid. Sometimes, especially if you're a fan already your judgement's get clouded. Now that you know these kids are for real. I wouldn't miss another video. The one you watched doesn't really depict how great they perform. This one was more theatrical compared to many others. But their Official Live Video's are the best to watch. They were on AGT a few years back and when offered a deal after their audition by Simon, they refused it and walked off the rest of the show. because the deal sucked. It showed they are screwed on tight.

They have MILLIONS of fans known as fangs worldwide and have successfully touredthe USA and have featured on 2 KISS cruises some of their covers have over 10 million views and they featured on the TV shows THE WORLD'S BEST and AGT where they pulled out because they couldn't progress unless they signed a contract which gave them only 1% of their earnings for 5 years . Melody's voice has sounded like this since she was around 12 and its natural . Check out the video for DEAR FATHER its movie quality and again it was made for very little money . This is one more fake rock band, everything about them is fake and their father has only exploited them since their beginnings, and despite the fact that they have been around for a long time, they have not managed to make a name for themselves in the scene, there are thousands of bands like They only in Japan there are thousands who play the same thing, and also the singer's voice is horrible, in short, don't waste time with this type of fake bands.

We are so proud that these kids have garnered such attention of the world and other rock stars who find them pretty great, Instead of playing quienes Mas Macho, just realize that all of us have our preferences and just cuz someone doesn't like a band, there is no call for insults and meanness on either side. Example: calling them a "fake band", where do you get that? What is fake Jose? They work hard and keep their faith in God intact despite the haters and the trolls. I am proud to follow this band and if I was still promoting bands, I would do it for Liliac for free.
@@cristyrawks6325 the warning was independent for a long time and thanks to their faithful followers they financed their first two albums, something that Liliac's "faithful followers" have not done, what did happen is that the major record companies, seeing the prodigious talent of the three sisters and their professionalism and their enormous talent for composing lyrics and music THEMSELVES to the point of making one of the best conceptual rock albums they fought to sign them but they knew how to choose the best option in due time and today they are signed not only by one but by 5 Records with one of the world's major record companies, it seems that you went wrong choosing bands to tour and the same thing would happen to you again with Liliac, greetings from Mexico, home of The Warning, the best rock band today.
