I'll be honest, this came out in like 2010-2011, and while I'm the biggest Nas fan, I just could never find myself to get this album. I heard it but it was a different vibe. Fast forward 10 years later and I love this album!

Yo, you should react to this cat named K’naan who is featured on the Distant Relatives album. He is from Somalia. If you get a chance check out this track he did with Mos Def and Chali Tuna called America. He also did some incredible remakes of Bob Marley and Fela Kuti tracks.

Can't read the language of eyptian "mummies" - not Egyptian "heirogliphics" . Egytpian mummies are saying "this is a grave site, sacred ground to my people, let me rest in peace where those that loved me placed me, for a reason; not a museum". Basically, scholars and scientist's aren't always the first ones to think of the human ramifications of their actions; mainly because they've been handed titles and pieces of paper that say they are the smartest people... which is a dumb, or ignorant conclusion to reach.
