Legendary group! And this album is 🔥. NE paved the way for New Kids and all the other boy bands since the 80s. In fact, New Kids were discovered by the same guy who led New Edition to a successful career. I’m a Bostonian and this is my favorite group of all time. Check out some of their earlier songs like Count Me Out and Mr. Telephone Man (they were in their early teens). Lastly, a few years ago the New Edition Story was released on BET. The group members were very involved and it’s an outstanding biopic (unlike most of them). I highly recommend it. All the re-creations of their videos and live performances are spot on too.
