Bu parçayı dinledikçe gaza geliyorum. Ben de bu cihana sığmazam. Azerbaycan bizim öz ve öz kardeşimizdir. Canımız ciğerimizdir. Karabağ'a gidip Azerbaycan bayrağını dikeceğiz. Hangi çılgın bize zincir vurabilmiş. Şaşarım. Kardeşimiz can Azerbaycan'a Türkiye'den selamlar.
Nasimi is an Azerbaijani mystical poet who lived at the end of the 14th century, he wrote his poems in a much more spiritual sense, that is why you felt that way. This is his famous poem and Sami Yusuf composed a song to those lyrics. He also is the art director of this composition which was presented at the event dedicated to Nasimi's anniversary. The other guy who performed is Tayyar Bayramov, an Azerbaijani mugham artist. Mugham is a traditional music genre. This was Shur mugham that evokes Sufi ceremonies. The woman is Samira Aliyeva who is an ashiq, meaning she is mastered playing the saz (similar to Turkish saz, but it has its own characteristics).
thank you for the details , its a shame a lot of us muslims from other countries have yet to delve in each others culture and history that glorify our islamic values , much much thanks .
I am just curious, if so can you please tell me that is this poem is Islamic. I mean in this poem are they describing Allah ? I'm sorry if it sound rude but I just want to is this beautiful song 's referring to Allah?
@@rowshanarefatema858 Nasimi was one of the most influential advocates of the Ḥurūfī doctrine, not Islam. He believed that at the center of Creation there was God, who bestowed His Light on man. Through sacrifice and self-perfection, man can become one with God., which he considered as the wise man. You could read about Hurufism which is a Sufi doctrine.
also from us the turks.this song united the whole turkic world. I understood every word in the song without being azeri, this shows how close these two languages are.

The people of Azerbaijan are a very cultured people. We have a great heritage like mugham. Nasimi's work is just a small part of Azerbaijani music. If you watch the music of our people, you will make great discoveries🇦🇿🙏
Mugham singer's Diaphragm capacity is immense. They can sing a few minutes without proper inhaling and exhaling. Diaphragm is the main secret of such a beautiful singing Technic and a periodic crescendos are amazing indeedy. Thank you Brother, once again, for your lovely interest in this kind of music which still is unknown to many people, unfortunately. I get my impressions from such an epic tunes to compose the music of different genre. Keep regardless to dislikes, they are all done by envious enemy of Turkic nation. I love also Irish folk music and Gregorian church choir for instance. So music has no boundaries. It brings a peace and serenity.

Hayret!

@@ayselm5119 Ninety percent of historical documents in your country are in Persian. Nasimi's poems are also in Persian, the same poem that Mr. Sami Yousef recites is in Persian, which has been translated into your language, but still more than fifty percent of it is Persian words.

Sami yusuf - Azerbaijan ..... İt is the next performance of this orchestra at the same day. You should listen it. Actually the song which i recommended it is the final song of the orchestra. You gonna love it. Im totally sure
Luke, I love your reactions, you also show your own quality while commenting. I'm glad you opened this channel, you are loved. I am Melek from Turkey, it means angel 💐
Absolutely one of the best choice for reaction. We can see that, music is really universal. Everyone can same feel when listen to this music. You are a really friendly man. You reflecting exactly what you really feel. good job
It seems like your Turkish viewers are generally young. Because of this, they don't recommend you an awesome Turkish singer of 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000s and even 2010s: Nilüfer (not the song Nilüfer, the singer Nilüfer) I recommend you these songs of her (some of them are covers): - Nilüfer - Taa Uzak Yollardan - Nilüfer - Dünya Dönüyor - Nilüfer - Mor Menekşe - Nilüfer - Kavak Yelleri - Nilüfer - Son Arzum - Nilüfer - Çok Uzaklarda
Buradan tüm Türk kardeşlerime ve Türk dostu insanlara esenlikler dilerim. Müziğin evrenselliğini bir daha görmüş olduk. Kardeş ülkem Azerbaycanla gurur duydum.
This is a poem by a famous Azerbaijani Sufi poet, Nasimi. In his poem he uses contrasts to explain the difference between the physical and spiritual worlds. You need to really understand Islam and the importance of the connection with Allah/God to fully appreciate this masterpiece.
"The world is contained in me, so I can not be contained these world. Thus the God is in me, so I am the God themselves" says Nasimi- great Azerbaijani poet
Hi Luke. That second singer is Tayyar Bayramov, a famous Azerbaijani mugham singer, one of the best folk music voices in Azerbaijan. He sings mugham. Sami himself is an Azerbaijani Turk coming from Iran, where over 35 mln Azerbaijani Turks live on their historic lands nowadays being part of Iran (northern regions - ostans of Iran are officially called Azerbaijan). The female singer plays saz, one of our oldest national instruments. And the whole action took place in 2019 (Year of Nasimi in Azerbaijan) in Baku, Azerbaijan to celebrate Nasimi's 650th birthday. Nasimi was a 14th century poet and philosopher born in Shamakhy, Azerbaijan, famous for his gazals (verses / poetry) and adherence to a Sufi doctrine of hurufism. Hurufism used to put a man as the God's most perfect creature into the centre of the universe; this philosophy is also reflected in the Nasimi's gazals put into this music by Sami Yusif. There, it says: "I host both universes but cannot fit into this single one". For these and similar verses Nasimi was arrested and sentenced to death through being de-skinned alive by the arab khaliphat in Haleb, nowadays Syria; he was there to spread the hurufism doctrine along with others. That is the story of the song, its performers and Nasimi. Thanks for posting this! Cheers and love from Azerbaijan.
Thank you for the video! even though I am Turkish this is my first time listening to this guy also! But we are used to those kind of music (chants so I didn't expect you to be moved by the song nor understand the true meaning of the lyrics. You're surprising me, Luke
You know Bro. You have a gift from the Lord. that enables you to sense the things that is not allowed others to have. Remember that you are the special one. Indeed. Don't forget!!!
nasimi (aka nesimi) is an 14th century poet who was skinned alive due his religious beliefs. And people who shares his beliefs are still prosecuted in modern Turkey and were victims of massacares till late 20th century.
Hi Luke, as a Türk i can say you must listen more east music like İran, Azerbaycan, Afganistan and others. They are really diffirent and deep more, i am sure you will say why i didnt listen before them. You are really successful in this way 😊🙏
