Since you called out Travis at the end, fun story... The first concert Travis attended as her boyfriend was down in Argentina, and she performed this as one of the surprise songs that night, just her and the piano. (She skipped the Future/Ed parts.) The fans all get bracelets that light up during the show, and during End Game, the bracelets were lit up with red/yellow lights - the colors of the Kansas City Chiefs. I think Travis knows he has a legend! 😀

I love this song, I feel like it's so underrated. Ed is actually singing about his own stuff, about his now wife, they reconnected at Taylor's 4th of July party, hence the line. the 4 words are probably "Will you marry me?" This is actually one of the few surprise songs Travis heard live hihi, she sang it in Argentina when he visited in the bye week, it was acoustic and she sang only the choruses, refrains and her parts, but it sounded so good, she looked so happy, I recommend giving it a watch.

rep is my favorite album for a reason. there's not a single skip on it. its not just top of her catalogue for me it's one of the greatest albums ever. favorite lyric will always be "and i bury hatchets but i keep maps of where i put em." like she may forgive but she never forgets.

They are all singing about their partners. Ed are singing about his now wife and Taylor are singing about Joe. All 3 have “big reputations” and all 3 are singing about their “chip on their shoulders” and issues they’ve hade in relationships before, but now they are singing that this relationships are different and they want this relationship to be “the end game” fun fact, in Eds verse he’s singing about 4 of July .. His relationship started after he invited a former friend to a 4 of July party at Taylor’s house.. Ed and Taylor are really good friends. According to Ed they talk on the phone almost daily.

This explanation makes so much sense! I hate how everyone thinks that End Game cannot possibly be about Joe because how would Joe have a reputation. But she's talking about herself, Ed talking about himself, and Future talking about himself - and how those 3 have the reputations, not their partners. Srsly thank you for this. I kinda thought that it was those three talking about how "they" have the big reputations and not Taylor talking about Joe and her having big reputations. (altho with all their back n forth at the beginning, maybe he did have one that no one public knew about. It's the quiet ones you gotta worry about, right? 😉)

Ed and Taylor have been great friends for many years and he met his now wife at Taylor’s 4th of the July party. Ed and Taylor have two other songs together. “Everything has changed” and then Taylor was on Ed’s song “Joker and the Queen”. It’s cute because the two music videos actually go together for those two songs. If you watch and react to them make sure you watch Taylor’s song Everything has changed first.

Ed has known his wife for years, they went to high school together it the uk. the song even says "Knew her when I was young Reconnected when we were little bit older" Ed and Cherry went to Taylor's 4th of July parties in 2015 and 2016 when they had started dating, that's why Ed says "After the storm, something was born on the Fourth of July" 😃

They all are awesome but I'm glad you notice that her song writing is phenomenal. There's nobody like her. Most artists don't write any songs they sing. We are all in agreement that you ARE a Swiftie! 🪪❤️🌸👏🏻🫶🏼 Ed and Taylor talk almost every day because they are best friends in real life. She helped him when his wife was pregnant and had cancer. She dropped everything to be there for them. When his best friend Jamal died, he was so lost that he started to cry on stage during a concert. He never had time to deal with the tremendous loss. Jamal was like a brother to him and let Ed crash on his couch and was pivotal in getting Ed’s songs on the internet. Ed’s a truly amazing person and artist. They both write their own songs. The way that all 3 of these fantastic artists came together was soo good! 🔥 Watch Ed in this… he’s an animal in the booth. It’s when he was just getting started but he knew his worth way back then.

He talks about her in interviews which is better than we can say about her last boyfriends. If she's happy, I'm happy. She sings falsetto alllll the time. Exile (many Folklore songs), Wildest dreams, Don't Blame, I don't want to live forever, Labyrinth, Would've Could've should've, Dress, I could go on and on. But her more recent stuff really accentuates her vocal range. She worked hard on her voice and those saying she can't sing are referring to early days or things like Shake It off. Taylor and T-Pain did a hilarious rap together about 13 years ago or so, and Tay-Tay has always loved hip hop music. The duet with T-Pain is super easy to find here on RU-vid. It’s a must watch. She’s about 20 and just adorable, but you can see she didn’t just start spittin bars out of nowhere.
