"Disciple" is all about social media and how people get manipulated by disinformation without even realizing it. [Dany’s parts are from the perspective of those spreading hate and ignorance for power and money.] She talks about how people avoid facing their own flaws and welcome the chaos that’s created. Then [Pau plays the "disciple"], representing those falling for it, blindly following what they’re told. The chorus is cool because Dany sings about fighting the system, trying to wake people up, but Pau's part reinforces staying trapped in ignorance-like a tug-of-war between rebellion and control. By the end, the "disciple" is totally brainwashed, swimming in hate, and still following the system. It’s a warning that if people don’t wake up, they’ll stay stuck in this loop of ignorance.

Regarding The Warning: You most certainly would like their studio versions and official music videos, BUT, you will LOVE LOVE LOVE their live videos! There are professionally recorded, mixed, and edited multi-cam videos on The Warning's channel. Pepsi Center is just the latest series released from their October, 2023, Tenth Anniversary show. The 08/29/2022 Teatro Metropolitan concert is nearly as good. What makes their live shows so good is the energy they feed off of from the crowd! It's electrifying.
A challenge for you is to watch Dust to Dust and Dull Knives back to back from this concert. You'll see Pau sing lead, and some semi heavy metal from them. Best part of the concert imo.
You tube is full of channels that just watch the video and say, "that's great, thanks for watching" . We don't need any more, pause as much as you want 👍🇫🇷

Welcome to the world of The Warning where professionalism is off the charts. The girls have a team that backs them like none other. They have their own audio engineer and their own videographer. Their goal is to be self-sufficient so that they can produce their same sound wherever they go. They have three singers as well as three instrumentalists. Yet they are all humble and down to earth. The Warning works as a family. Their dad is their stage and logistics manager and their mom is their stylist and personal assistant. One of their songs, Qué Más Quieres, is nominated for a Latin Grammy. If they win their mom will have a grammy as she has writing credits on the song.

All 3 of them sing lead on certain songs. The rarest is Ale sing lead because that means Dany is sick or lost her voice. One of my favorite examples of this is THE WARNING in 4K - Hunter (ALE vocals) - TORONTO@The AXIS Club - AUG 13 2023 - ERROR Tour - FANCAM I love Dany's smile when Ale starts to sing. Seeing this in person would be akin to seeing a Unicorn eating a cheeseburger on the moon. 😛
And you also have to consider that all of the girls were just recovering from the flu during this concert and Pau was outright somewhat sick still when it came to showtime, so I think she just muscled through and took energy shots or something to get her through. If this is Pau being sick, it is beyond impressive.
I have been a live mixing FOH engineer (tontechniker) for 30 years. The idea that The Warning IS a live rock band is not a joke. Your decision to make an exception is smart. Their music videos and lyric videos are great too, but the live versions are often as good or better. Yes ... the live videos they produce themselves sound and look great. They have a very good team around them who really know them well. It's a "family" thing with them. Now I would avoid the videos produced by Vevo Live and Pol-rock and Wacken TV. You may have copyright issues with those and they don't sound as good. The Warning videos made by them will never have those issues, especially copyright claims. Now ... to TWA. The only caveat to the Pol rock prohibition that it's a great listen. Yes they will block it. Except for Disciple. But Sharks is an absolute banger. At my house I have 3600 watts and 4 12" subs that really move some air on this track. It's a concert board style mix. Reminds me of some of the better shows that I saw back in the 80s before SPL limiting became so prevalent. I remember an U2 show with levels well into the 120 dB level. At FOH! We had stacked box after box of subs on the ground and had several rows of big Crown amps stacked into boxes. It was hot so we had turned the boxes up and placed dry ice on the cooling fins.... much like we did the Phase Linear amps to keep them from catching fire. Oh the good old days of rock and roll!
The Warning, both with this show, and their 2022, Teatro Metropolitan show, have achieved the very best live concert sound mix I have ever heard. These poeple know what they are doing, and they are very good, arguably the best, at it!
Well, with these ladies you'll have to get used to reacting to their songs live! 😂 The thing with them, is that by the time you react to their studio versions, they've already surpassed them in their live performances. This stuff you're seeing is almost a year old, and by now they've already surpassed it. If you look at what they're doing now, you'll see that they've already taken their act up another notch. Reacting to a band's recorded music sounds logical, but with The Warning you'll eventually realize that it doesn't make much sense. 😉 As for pausing the music, it shouldn't be a problem for anyone since you're reacting to it somewhat. Just don't forget to rewind the music a few seconds, so you don't miss any details. I've seen several reactors miss important details, by stopping the music at the wrong time, and then not rewinding the playback. Keep digging into these ladies' catalog. You still don't know the size of the treasure you just found! 🤘😎
I don't know if you all can see it, but I always rewind 5-10 seconds after pausing, because as you say I don't want to miss any details Of course there will be details I miss at the first listen, but I still try to capture as much as I possibly can
This is what they are like live, every time, every performance. They are still very young and just released their 4th album, all of them are really good but being able to watch the three sisters progress over 10 years ( this is the concert celebrating their 10th annivesary) from 9, 12 and 14 to today at 19, 22 and 24 on RU-vid is really amazing.
You have a ton of great music ahead of you in this concert, and several unique moments that haven't occurred before - so get ready to be happy (except for the parts where you may cry)!! And, it is your channel - run it however you want!!!

But I always listen to the Songs off screen, especially when they are as good as this 😄 So, although there may be things I miss, the full experience is still there

Great reaction; it's always fun to watch someone discover this incredible band!!! A couple points to remember: This particular concert is special and was deliberately recorded professionally. It is their 10th anniversary celebration, so because of this not only is the sound mixed carefully and well, also the audience is almost entirely composed of long-time fans (so it is natural that they will know pretty much all the lyrics to their songs and will sing along the entire time). Also, as a "trio band", it's pretty common for the bass component to be as significant or even the primary component of their compositions (think "Iron Maiden"). Swapping "lead" positions in the instrumental melody between Dany and Ale is sort of required when there are only three instruments playing, especially when one of them is the drum set. Basically, both bass and guitar can do either "rhythm" or "lead", depending on what the tune requires. As many others have said, "Live is _The Warning's_ super power. Looking forward to your reaction to this amazing concert; you are in for quite a ride!! ⚡🤘⚡
There are a couple songs where they trade lead vocals (Sinister Smiles is another one) and several from this show where Pau sings lead, including a couple of tear jerkers. Dust to Dust/Dull Knives is a great one to check out from this show. They close the show with Narcisista which is the first song they did in Spanish and one of the songs Pau sings lead on.
The song ends on the word Ignorance, and that is because they wanted to emphasize on that word. There are a lot of VLOGS where they speak about their songwriting that you'll find on their own youtube channel and then on other TW fan youtube sites people have gather interviews with them etc. . In this song Dany starts by telling to her disciples that the sun us the enemy today and in the second verse Pau replies that, yes now she sees the sun as well as her enemy as a good (and blind) disciple. Every song form TW has meaningful lyrics and they have said in interviews that they have rewritten part of some songs to fit specific lyrics they wanted to get in.
That’s why everyone was saying Pepsi Center, the sound is great. And, you will find that live sounds just as good, if not better, than studio when it comes to The Warning. ⚠️❣️⚡️❤️🔥
I don't think you need to bend to the will of the "No Pausing" commenters. Yes, there's such a thing as too much pausing, but some is expected because it's a reaction channel. I've only given up on a watching a complete reaction when the amount of pausing was simply ridiculous. Thankfully that's very rare. Keep up the good work!
The idea of reacting to their performance at the Pepsi Center, one by one of their songs and in the established order, is magnificent. They (Pau and Dany) alternate vocally in some songs (a few) and in some others Pau is the vocal leader, but in most of them Dany is the one who shows off her spectacular voice. When you are done with the Pepsi Centre videos, you should go back and look at where they came from. Dust to Dust at Lunario, their XXI Century Blood official video (their first ever), Survive at their 2017 TedX presentation, and absolutely, positively, the most necessary Warning video to ever watch, their 2014 original Enter Sandman cover!
A good one would be XXI Century Blood in the video studio version and then the live version at the Pepsi Center. That will show how much they have evolved. The video version won numerous awards.
I have never understood why anyone would go to a *reaction* channel, and then complain about the person there *pausing* and *commenting.* That's the whole point :) You, in my opinion, should just ignore that type of commenter. how could it not be a good band if: there is a granddaughter of Elvis Presley, (the bassist, she is the same even with the same charisma and talent), a daughter of Jimmy Hendix with Janis Joplin (the singer, front woman and guitarist), and a daughter of Neal Pert with Lady Gaga (the drummer, singer, composer, rock star, etc, etc, etc)😂😂😂😂😂😂
The 2022 concert they did at Teatro Metropolitain was the gold standard before this show and should not be missed. Also the "Pol' And Rock" and "Wacken Outdoor" footage is smokin' hot if you can find it.
Seconding the rec for Teatro Metropolitan and Pol’and’Rock. The audio in most of the Wäcken Open Air footage I’ve seen is pretty bad; they seriously undermic’ed Pau. Teatro Metropolitan has been at the top of the recommendation list for every member of TWA for so long, it’s gonna be hard to eat out of the habit and occasionally recommend the Pepsi Center instead. Pepsi Center has more crowd noise, but some of the performances are better. Pol’and’Rock was mind-blowing, though. I don’t know how many people were there (I’ve seen estimates of 100k+), but it was certainly the biggest audience DPA have ever played for. But by the end of the set, they *owned* that crowd.
@@gerstelb The vibe and crowd is the only reason I included WOA. Also, I agree with the audio assessment, but the audio gets better as the set progresses.
No problem with pausing frequently for discussion. As others have noted, we've all listened to these songs many times. You have a more analytical style that is more to my preference, and you're just getting into the band.

They have one of the best sound engineers in the bussines plus their dad used to own a recording studio. In all their concerts their sound is on point!
The Warning never phone it in and they really come alive in front of an audience, even a fairly small one. As exciting as their professionally-done studio videos are, the same song will really come alive in a well-recorded live concert. The Teatro Metropolitan and Pepsi Center concerts, for example. Welcome to the rabbit hole. The TW Army will be with you. Pau, the drummer, is a fully-qualified lead singer. Listen to her on 23, Survive, Dust to Dust, Narcisista, Revenant, Black Holes, and Breathe, as well as her self-recorded at-home rendition of Creep. If you're looking for another band along the same to look into, try Freeze the Fall, an up and coming Canadian rock trio with plenty of potential.
I would say that with The Warning, if there’s a true music video for a studio track, not just a “lyric video,” it’s probably worth checking out, but there’s an undeniable energy in every performance in front of an audience. It’s a personal preference thing: some people like crisp studio tracks, others like the “turned up to 11” vibe of the live shows. Most of TWA is in the latter group, but no one should judge. Pau shares or sings lead on about 20% of their songs. Ale almost always sings backup, but she has stepped up to sing lead at times when Dany has needed to rest her voice. There’s only fan-cam of these occasions, unfortunately. But there are moments in “Choke” and “Hell You Call a Dream” live performances when she briefly takes the mic - and these are often the “most viewed” portion of those videos. Much of TWA prays that someday we will actually have an “Ale song.” (Although given how much the bass stands out in their arrangements, it could be argued that every song is an Ale song.)
Hi! Just subscribed to your channel and so far you‘re doing everything right. The Warning, beside being special as a band itself, is one of the few modern bands that sound live most of the time even better than in the studio. Their studio/original videos are all great as well and very worth watching, but their live energy is very very special. And to top it all, those three sisters always make sure every single one of them can shine and show their best performances. They seem to get along extremely well. What a delight in those current days.
The Warning have a great team when they mix and film their live shows. This show will make love live performances. Pau does lead vocals on around 30% of their songs and even solo vocals. I think this will happen naturally, the more I do these kind of videos, since I'm still new to reaction Videos 😄 Before that I always did Gaming related commentary and livestreams in my native language for almost 11 years, while this is the first time I'm doing content in english, which I always wanted to do. So I think it will take a bit of time, but I think I can improve interms of explaining my thoughts

After Pepsi Center you will have to do all songs from Metropolitan CDMX 2022 (22 live videos, good audio quality) and then all from Lunario live 2018 (good audio 18 live videos) and then all Music Videos and then all other... we have like 100 weeks in front of us. Beste Live Band die ich je gesehen habe: Ich habe weit über 100 gesehen und z. B. Sisters Of Mercy, Die Ärzte, Level 42, Simply Red, Eric Burdon und etliche mehr mit veranstatet. Das The Warning Konzert im April in Köln war phänomenal! Ich denke mal einzig Lovebites (Japanische All Female Metal Band) könnte da eventuell mithalten, aber die habe ich leider noch nicht gesehen.

Only "XXI Century Blood" and MAYBE "Qué Más Quieres" are songs where you need to check out the video. Other than those two, always, always, always choose the live version. Live is their superpower!

I'm still not sure if I do the live Version first and the Studio Version second or the other way around. I think I'll make a poll in the Community Tab for that, but for now the decision is still open 😄
Also, for me, an American, I love the automatic translation from youtube. It works perfectly fine for me, a few words here and there are off but you get used to it... It can work for the World also, but may take more time uploading your video. You really should do it though. More people, more views, more likes, more subs, just more in nunbers...
@@energeticmusiclover That's cool. The Ladies do the live as close to the actual recording as possible. A few are better live but TWA will let you know when those pop up. But I'd say listen to the Studio Video how we learned to, then Live, or Acustic... The ladies also have Lyric videos which are the recording + lyrics in English... Do what you want, it is your time and effort, keep it cool & fun for you ! I'll tune in to hear what you got for us !!
As far as subtitles on your videos, I think you should add English subtitles only when they speak in Spanish. That's fairly typical with what I see with other reactors too
Pau is also a lead singer about 1/3rd of the time....they just switch off all through the songs. Ale can sing lead also but she just doesn't like too. Others were correct, the Warning live is always better than music videos. Their videos are great, don't get me wrong, but they are a cut above live. I've seen them a few times and was blown away at their live performances....they are special. PS I would recommend that you use English translation when they are speaking in Spanish. 90% of the world can read and write in English so it helps the majority. Just my thoughts, its your channel, good luck.
Nice reaction again! I'm sure someone probably already pointed it out, but he Pepsi Center videos are numbered in the bottom right of the thumbnail, in order of when they were played at the concert. Keep working your way through them - a roller-coaster of emotions and feelings heading your way!
