Sammy , Larry and gene , 3 favorite guys from the buisness I like listening to , maybe because of their story's or the way they tell them buti can listen without getting bored and losing interest 🤷
Not sure Gene adds much to a show that has Larry on, spent all his time talking about Larry’s story and interrupting. As ever Larry is a class act. Get Larry on again!
Great sit down. It’s a good parallel between the prime of the mob vs the newer mob. Larry was a straight killer. I didn’t like Gene for the longest but as he does more and more content he’s connecting with more people
The 70s and 80s was the best time to be alive especially in Brooklyn New York. I wish we all could go back to the payphone days. I use to trick or treat at Greg Scarpas house
I did the 70s and 80s in that territory, Brooklyn Heights, Cobble Hill, Carol Gardens. It probably was really treacherous. I guess you just get used to it but you're right, those were some great days in Brooklyn - and Manhattan - and South Florida 😂
I’m half Mexican and half Italian and I love learning about both the Mexican cartels and Italian mafia. It’s sick to me. Unfortunately for me I’m not built like these guys. But I love to admire them lol.
Thanks for sharing! It’s awesome to have a passion for learning about both the Mexican cartels and the Italian mafia. Their histories and stories are definitely fascinating. Glad you're enjoying the content-keep watching and learning!
Supposedly Allie Boy Jr. & his Father Knew Greg scarpa had been "No Good/Cooperating" for 20 yrs kinda Ingenious to turn Government own weapon against itself, Greg scarpa has a Duty to the family due to him being a Made member & using his Informant status to get tips etc.
Was thinking the same thing, love gene but Larry's on a different levels. Whatmurdaaaaa so fucking funny . Jeff nadu is trying to find this guy . Anyone know him
Luca Brasi wasn’t made.. n he ended up being with Michael franzese. Michael has a few story’s with him. Larry is a good guy! Always like hearing him on these shows
Can't believe Larry Mazza sitting with Gene Borrello. When Mazza was shooting left and right in the middle of a war him and Scarpa!! Borrello was not born . don't know what's going on here . ??
@@Jay_nicola because one if full of BS acting like if he was in a mob war and all he was was a petty thief when cost nostra became obsolete and no longer exist . am just confused and disappointed Larry sitting with this kid
i like them talking about other guy that were invoved . the guys that never get talked about. larry could probably do a 2 hour show talking about his uncle exclusively.
Colombo's 60s-70s > Gallos, Greg Scarpa, Charlie Panarella, Mimi Scialo, Sally D'Ambrosio, Fred Delucia, Genarro Ciprio, Sonny Pinto, Jo Jo Vitacco, Carmine Persico.. I could go on because it's a long list. That family for whatever reason seemed to be full of killers. And they also seemed to have a penchant for killing their own guys as well.
28:00 For some reason I've always been fascinated by these Cosa Nostra "sit-downs". When Michael Franzese told all of us about that sit-down meeting his best friend walked him into, he may have omitted a very important detail about what he could have walked in with that day (or night), yes? OTOH, he doesn't strike me as a violent guy, but maybe that's because he was more of a racketeer with a brand style business demeanor like Big Paulie, than a gangster with a hot temper like Sammy the Bull or Crazy Joe, along with his crew. And it's been my understanding that Franzese was convinced that he would not be walking out of that meeting alive. And that reminds me of how back when DeSimone walked into that room to become straightened out, but ended up dead for raising his hand to a made guy, but I suspect he was going in very naive. The problem I have with that story however, is that he was supposedly told that that he was going to be straightened out, and it's always been my understanding that you don't get told what the sit-down is about, and that you just get walked into a room by your protégé. _"Your best friend walks you into a room, you don't walk out again."_ -Michael Franzese
@@Jacksonnnnnnnnnnnnnhe’s a dime store hood. He’s a hanger on. He was committing crimes 2 years ago. He’s a pimple on Larry’s foot. It’s like having a high school baseball player playing w Aaron Judge.
Why does it start out 70s vs 90s Larry was in the life from 79 to 93 and Gene from 04 to 14. Should be mob in the 80s vs 2010s Otherwise solid so far. I’m only a couple mins in to the video
Btw the commandment isn’t thou shall not kill , it’s thou shall not murder! Big difference , there were many ppl in the Bible who killed tons of ppl there were wars back then. N they were men of God. We all can be forgiven
Love listening to Gene because I met Vinny Asaro at least a dozen times albeit I was a citizen. Me and Vinny had an argument one time. But Vinny liked me so he was a good guy to know if you know what I mean
@@JoeM-ig1nl jimmy burke and tommy desimone called my family family. Jimmy got pissed at tommy for being tommy in front of my grandparents. He was like have some respect we're with family here. And I knew 1 guy that was higher up that ladder /out ranked vinny A.
Larry is for me the most coolest mans man. What a life story. See every interview a few times. Wow. Larry and Franzeese I like most. No rats. Wow. Selam from Germany
@@KTtraintowin First Michael is the real son. Not the step son. Michael rat on no one. Deal with 10 years after he beat 5 cases. Put no one in jail. Larry don’t rat. He gave infos about the fbi man. That’s because he get an deal 10 years. You must inform you.
@@KTtraintowin Michael is the son not step. Don’t you know the story ! Michael make an deal about 10 years after he beat 5 cases before. because the only Wittnes was terrible. He put no one in prison my friend. And Larry make an deal about 10 years because he gave info about the corrupt fbi agent. That’s the only he did. And took his friend with him in the deal. Wow. You know nothing. These two are nothing to do with rats. They did the ten in the can. Without testifying on anybody !!!!!!
Gene Borrello and Larry Mazza are both well-known figures in the mafia world, but they come from different eras. Gene Borrello was involved in organized crime more recently, while Larry Mazza was active during an earlier period.
Larry was the real deal but sometimes i question the accuracy of his stories. In another video of yours he claimed "if our side won the war" which they did. Little Vic and Vinny Aloi had to go. His side DID win the war and Vinny Aloi was never bothered. You should put him on the spot about that in a future interview
These guys are all bullshit artist. How many times can we hear the-same old stories about an organization that you betrayed From one Italian to another and I’m not talking half or 3/4 Italian….. 100% Italian blood, this is an embarrassment to all of us.
You ever ask yourself how Jean Borello has all this information when he was in the 90s and this guy has been the 70s and 80s that’s because he looks all this stuff up and he goes on all these podcasts and get paid to sound like he was around these guys when this guy wasn’t even a molecule in his mothers womb
I'm wondering if the feds are listening in on this.Gene talking about to much killing guys are doing.Hes actually saying names. You don't say that stuff
