Found this interesting trail to try some off-road adventures at Chittakki coffee estate in Banakal, Mudigere. And I must say the Jimny totally surprised me!

I was at a resort near kodachadri. They recommended me to take a jeep to the peak. I asked the driver sir if we could take my car, Skoda Yeti. He only smiled. That day i realised that all the off roading that we normal humans do is nothing. If you get a chance please do that kodachadri ride to understand the level at which the professional drivers operate. It seems they have to bang the chassis back to shape after a few rides. After dropping us back at the resort, he did ask me if i still thought we could take my car!! It was a pretty a enjoyable humbling experience for me. Best wishes on your new car sir. Thanks for all the content. Please visit our town Mysore again.

As thar and jimny owner I mean no offense but from what I have seen in the video, you have utilized maybe 10% of its potential. and unless there are bumps or potholes you do not need to engage 4x4, even the mud roads you were on were smooth and mostly flat which dont require 4x4. If you drive with 4x4 on smooth roads for a long time, it will lead to transmission wind up. also if your climbing steep hills turn off the AC. Great video! Really enjoyed this series.

Hi Dhruv, glad you enjoyed the series. Yes, am fairly new to this off-roading thing. But 4wd was required on some of the stretches. Was advised to do even with the pickup that I drove in the last vlog. Thank you for your suggestions. 🙌🙃

The reduction ratio gearbox allows us to crawl downhill using engine braking and I guess the Jimny has some electronic trickery also of hill decent control.

@@KripalAmannaVlogs Dear Kripal In the Jimny hill descent works when u engage 4x4 and then press the hill descent switch the green light should come up on the console. This helps the car not to exceed the preset speed while going downhill which is 5kmph in 4L and 10km in 4H giving u full control of the vehicle during the descend and come down safely (without using the brake or accelerator).

Good afternoon dear Kripal - It’s good that you had a little feel of the road that lies ahead of you vide your brief drive on the Mahindra Pick Up Truck . So far so good on the Jimny. I agree the suspension of Jimny is miles better than the Mahindra Bolero. It’s wonderful to note the technical aspects of your drive as you keep motoring along . Beautiful scenic view . That’s indeed a steep gradient . Great camera angles to capture your drive 👍 Whoa it’s a wrong path and the decent is also a challenging one . Totally agree that a 4 wheel drive gives you an opportunity to explore such off-roading drives along a challenging yet scenic backdrop. Kudos to your camera person for taking difficult albeit wonderful shots 👌👌 Is it Varun ? Thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful vlog . Huge ticks ✅ to the Jimny for holding you steady during this wonderful off-roading drive . Definitely a tricky drive but Kudos to your driving skills . This was fun, Rajesh, glad you noticed the camera work. Wanted to provide an immersive feel to those watching. A little piece of trivia here: this vlog is just under 12 minutes, but we spent 150 minutes filming it! And yes, the ppf was definitely a paint-saver, no way one should try this without it unless one doesn't care much about the car getting scratched. Have a great weekend. Cheers!

Mr. Kripal... Jimny is a good package. But Pick-up is an entirely different vehicle.. And never try to explore the rough terrain without differential guards & fuel tank Shield...

Such a simple road to drive. You are simply exaggerated the drive just for the views. Simple alto , wagonr can drive smoothly on that road. No need of jimny

Hi John, one of the tragedies with my Jimny purchase is that I didn't get a hard copy of the owner's manual. So you are lucky. 🙂🙌 My service manager prescribed 29psi which is what I keep it at as opposed to the 24-26 that I am told is prescribed in the manual.

Just one suggestion though, please keep the length of the videos in check. (Not this one in particular) I feel many of us don't have the luxury of time to leisurely watch these videos. A nice drive vlog sir, jimny deleting all the doubts in mind, it's doing a great job, compared with ride quality of bolero and jimny the difference can be easily witnessed, thanks for vlog and brining in thoughts of jimny off-road ride quality, sir observed that there might be scratches from the shrubs of the plant, when you are. In emotive, does the ppe has done its job or just scratching just the material or it has scratched the body of the car, does ppe completely eliminates the risk of scratches and is it scratch proff, can you please help out sir, i am not much of a traveller now, but i have bought new maruti dzire your video intersted me in putting the ppe, can you show some light on this sir As usual a complete package of entertainment and knowledge, thank you sir

Let him feel happy & enjoy whatever he has purchased. But after purchasing a donkey, if anybody says he has purchased a lovely horse, it is both, a comedy & an error. Going still further and trying to justify it becomes a comedy of errors. Degrading the Mahindra Thar and humiliating their owners just to prove his choice of purchase was better than the others is in very poor taste. It is as nasty as his new toy & his choice of purchases he does often. Another 11 after 10. Everybody including MS knows Jimmy is a Dummy. It has been a big flop show just like the new Zen for the MS. After buying it spending lakhs of rupees , he obviously has to convince himself that it was a very intelligent move. Allow him to flatter himself and his lovely " purchases" It is his money, his purchase, & more so his channel. He will say a lot of things. That's his job that's his bread & butter. Infact so many dishes he so poetically describes in so many eateries, turns out utterly hopeless when we try it out. We all know Kripal is good in exaggeration. Best is to take his opinion in a 50-50 mode.
