First Time on a Trike 2020 CVO Harley Davidson Tri Glide

One of the test rides I did at Smith Brothers Harley Davidson was the 2020 CVO Tri Glide. It was also my first time on a trike. I have to admit.....it was kinda fun....weird transition feeling but it was fun.

I used to ride two wheels. Laid over my low rider and really messed up my shoulder. So... Now I have to ride a tri glide. But.... I'm glad I did because it's alot more fun and I didn't have to worry about holding it up or worry about my knees and feet.

I have driven it on dirt roads and I couldn't feel any loss of traction or bumps it is really great even on country roads.

I’m with you bro! Only reason I want it so bad because I’ve been riding crouch rockets for so long, and now that I’m a disabled vet...I really need one. I can’t stop riding motorcycles and motorbikes.

There’s a utilitarian aspect to a trike I have a 15 Freewheeler I love the storage capacity I love the comfy ride And i get so many compliments on it it’s crazy

There’s also people like me who bought a trike that likes the safety aspects of it. It just takes a while of writing it before you can appreciate it. I’ve ridden a two wheeler for 15 years and I enjoy the trach much more

You got your wish! For 2023 they brought out the Road Glide 3. It's like a somewhat "dressed up" Freewheeler with a Road Glide fairing.

Trikes are cool and look great. They are fun to ride cruising down the highway. There's plenty of storage space on Trikes, and THTS a huge plus. You don't have to be old or scared to ride a motorcycle to make an excuse to own a Trike. You just have to be able to make enough money to afford one since they are expensive. In another words you make enough money to own a Trike.

With some luck the Motor Company will likely start making these Tri-Glides come factory equipped with an independent rear suspension system and shaft drive just give em another 50 years it'll happen.

I have had two HD tri glide now and love them. In the corners they are a lot of fun if place the trike in the right place and slide it around the corner.

Yep! Goose it in a corner and it feels like someone or something is picking up the rear end and swinging you around the corner. It's AWESOME!!!

Went through the trike school to learn to ride it they instruct you to ride it just like an ATV by counter balancing in turns so a lot less stress on the arms when turning. you just move your butt the other way in the turn. left turn move a little right and so on.

I was in a motorcycle accident 2 years ago and absolutely miss the wind, the only way I can ride again is a trike.. now the only thing I have to consider is what trike to get or buy a bike and a reputable conversion kit like CSC or Motor Trike.. I crashed a Road King so I'm leaning towards the freewheeler

Lot of adaptive riders (amputees, spinal cord injuries, and other conditions) choose to ride trikes and variants (chariots, servi-cars, sidecars, and tow-pacs).

Brother , not related to this topic , I would like you to learn about Islam. No harm in it. May be you will come to know about a billion people who want to harm all infidels all that stuff and threaten people but may be you will come to learn about the truth of real life , to be patience throught out your life and what an amazing discovery that would be. I wish Harley made this in an automatic version. And I wish Harleys were more reliable like Hondas are. But if it was in an automatic, I would def be interested. I think its a beautiful trike.

I have a tri glide ultra classic 2016 the best part of a trike is you pull right to go right and pull left to go left. With the new traction control can you still drift the new trike in the corners?

The back and forth saw goes away after you get used to it.. Your causing it.. Its not the trike. And it doesnt take strength to turn... You need to learn that too. You push on the bar to turn, not pull on it. In a hard turn you lock your elbow and push with your body.. You can still take turns faster than the posted speed... You just need to learn how to ride it. Like you had to learn to ride two wheels...

"WHEN I"M OLDER ?" I'm 73 and I just now put my 160 hp BMW K1600gt in the garage after a short ride of passing every HD I could find. Two things -- (1) trikes are not motorcycles, and (2), from a lot of experience, Harleys aren't either. The day I can't ride a two wheeler any more is the day I give up bikes.

Harleys are not motorcycles. I have had all brands including K1200 and R1200, don't be a snob they all have good and bad points I love them all

1.) Tri Glides and Freewheelers ARE motorcycles, but they are NOT motor bikes, or bikes but we TriGlide owners often refer to them as bikes. 2.) Ride safe!
