Hello, welcome back! I feel like this is somewhat of a life troll, I was sent this bike just as I was preparing for my Everesting attempt. I've never actually ridden an E-Bike before and was pleasantly surprised by how much fun this little thing was. I also tried to get a KOM, hope you enjoy the vlog. Alright Dave found the channel the other day an its exactly what ive been looking for. Bit of this bit of that, no bullshit. I like the way you just do your thing and talk. Keep it up mate. Would love to see some rides round the river dart country park. Used to go there with my family who live in Devon, and it'd bring back some great memories! All the best

e bikes are great for commuting when you don't want to show up somewhere sweaty and also for getting people into riding. Eventually they switch to a normal bike.

this looks a lot of fun, i just wish bikes like this are legal in the uk, as ebikes have to be pedal assist. love the emoped-that-you-can-pedal-like-a-bike-for fun-so-you-look-like-your-riding-a-bike type machine though, looks proper fun!

Sorry about your ankle! I've got suuuuper flexible ankles so I'm always doing something to them. So you've got a folding e-bike? Usually, I'm the surly sort who'd come here to just thumbs down the vid. But I adore you. So here I am. Also, that bell needs to be replaced with something that matches your cheery disposition. I really loved my Kona Coco. There's an e-coco now. It's the little touches on a bike that are nice. I think the pedals were not quite what I'd want but everything else was great.

It looks cool, and it sounds like it fills the brief rather well. Given a rear wheel ebike kit with battery costs at least £400, if that thing is £750 it's a bit of a bargain. I'm sure a Brompton is loads better built and stuff, but how much is an e-Brompton - £2,800 or so?

Fair Play Dave 🤣🤣🤣🤣slower than normal on KOM 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 King of FUN off-roading 🤪🤪🤪at first did think wtf. Dave on e-bike but turned out to be entertaining 👍🤪🤣🤣🤣 I do get there is a good side to E-bikes with someone with medical and fitness issues but I do see a lot of young people tearing down the paths and canals and you know at the next bridge their gona be in the canal 😂 but hey it’s all FUN 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Greggs Dave Juliet’s won the food stop with them pasties OMG 👍👍👍👍👍😎😎🤪🤪🤪

I’m not sure, the assist is nice but it so heavy and not as comfort as the Brompton. It would have been nice to use for a few laps though 😂

Legit UK E-bikes are ‘pedal assist’. You’ve been out on an electric moped/motorcycle. ‘Registration and insurance please sir?!’

When no pedal is an option and the bike can do say 30 mph without human input I think then its ok to call for road tax and insurance.

The EU directive states as follows: 'maximum continuous rated power of 0.25 kW, of which the output is progressively reduced and finally cut off as the vehicle reaches a speed of 25km/h (15.5mph) or if the cyclist stops pedaling'. people often want the cutoff mech removed, but no respectful bike shop will do it.
