So turns out that Zoeii is a lot faster than I originally expected!! Now it's just time to put the car on the dyno and see what kind of power she's actually making.. Now that we have the power down, it's time to get a bit more technical with new suspension, weight distribution, and maybe even wheels and tires. What do you think we should do next???
@@mr.anderson9343 ECR (Eagles Canyon Raceway) is in Texas. Texas has 4 relatively easy tracks to get to from our area with excellent HPDE organizations.

I suggest getting a deep set bucket seat because it looks as if you your self are being thrown around and can't hold on plus I'm guessing you are using the door panel as a way of support with your knee they can get pricey but it'll make you feel under control a whole lot more
Yo zorbii congrats on that 35 second pass. I could tell it was dragging a little bit. That pro charger kit and bash bar really put some weight on that car. Cant wait to see more.
@@Zorbii I think it's a good idea for the suspension and wheels and tires. My dad just got some ridgegrapplers for his 2006 Nissan titan. You should look it up.
Man I race in the sowela region for autocross and the surface we race at is long gone. Me and my buddies are trying to get up to Monroe and race up there to see what it is like racing on a smooth surface lol.

The problem with adding as much power as you did is exactly what you experienced because of the additional speed. What brake pads are you using? I hate to say it but the Toyos are probably holding you back as well, assuming you are still on them. There are better autocross focused tires that can accomplish what the Toyos can. Of course XP isn’t tire restrictive so you could run slicks if you wanted.
The car has actually never had Toyos on it before. It's been running Federal RS RR's for about 2 years now and the car was set up pretty great for being NA. But I agree with you on making the car faster, it does cause issues. But that's just part of the game. You have to keep finding the limiting factor of the car and before it was horsepower. Now it's weight distribution, suspension, and tires. I don't know if it's brakes yet because the tires could also be limiting the braking ability as well.
@@ZorbiiI guessed on the tire and just like the Toyos, there are much better options. Brakes work hand in hand with tires but weak pads don’t help that’s why I asked about them. People make this mistake a lot where they add power before the car is sorted out everywhere else. I get it though, you have a channel that needs content and who could pass up on a procharger? Maybe this weekend will help get it worked out. I won’t be there this weekend as I will be at ECR.
I’m not sure on the brakes but I do plan to upgrade them soon. They worked great when the car was NA and the speed isn’t the issue. It’s just the weight of the car now more than anything. Either way, there’s a plan in place for what to change on the car, it’s just gonna take time because all costs money of course 🤷🏽♂️
Gavin needs to take the ZL1 to the track when you go, not the drag strip, the track, I wanted to say that Gavin should take the ZL1 to auto cross but idk if the ZL1 can take it
Is the bash bar steel or aluminum? If its steel, try to find an aluminum one or make one. That may help with weight if you dont want that much up front. And honestly, i say lose the lsd and go full diff to have both back wheels spin at the same time. it may help with performance and run time.
@@Zorbii I would definitely recommend. With all the quick sideways g force you see, it's relatively cheap insurance for temporary oil starvation as the oil sloshes around. Your build tho, it's sick! Thanks for the reply!
Actually it was probably about 330. Looking at the footage it seems like the car was only making about 3-5psi when it ended up making 10lbs on the dyno. So I suspect that I had a boost leak after the original assembly.
