The 'treasure chest' you've sold is a bag that has bigger capacity that you are currently using. You can replace your current bags to make more carrying space. You also should wear the trinket that's in your bag.
Mages have a lot of abilities to avoid enemies getting into melee range or kill them before they can hit. Use your fire spell to finish off something getting close, it's instant cast. Use arcane explosion for the same thing. Blink and freeze them. A little trick, you can start the next cast before the first one finishes, start it again when there is like an eighth of the cast bar left, it'll keep the spell rolling.
I'm really enjoying this series! As a WoW veteran it's definitely shows a new perspective on how the game is played from a new player. Since people are giving tips, here's mine: Your spells like feather falling and conjure mana cakes are super helpful. Mana cakes also heal you and feather falling has saved my life many times when I thought I could jump from high places, your attack spells should be on your main hotbar and then spells for disabling mobs or healing you should be in the hotbar above the main one. Websites like wowhead are super helpful with maximizing how to best see what spells can optimize your character and quest helpers too
Very nice series! Really enjoy it. Im gonna be that guy and give you two smal tips tho :c 1. You should open your map via the "m" key to see where you have to go so you don't have to really on the small minimap 2. The game music is really awesome, tailored for each zone(and even subzone) and adds a lot to the immersion. Therefore I recommend enabling "loop game music" option in the "audio" settings Hope to see more videos in the future, really enjoy it! I don't play retail since 10 years anymore(still play classic very active tho) and it's very interesting for me to see what retail has evolved to. Cheers!
Really enjoying the series mate, keep it up! Two pieces of advice from my side: Keybinds are your best friend, avoid clicking on spells, customize your keybinds to whatever feels like it makes sense and is comfortable for you. Try to avoid backpedalling(walking backwards with the "S" key), especially as a mage. It is much slower than strafing left or right and you can cast spells at the same time since you face your enemies. Keep it up!
Very interesting series, I started playing wow back in 2007. Really cool seeing current wow through the eyes and thoughts of a new player. Great choice with mage too you’ll have a lot of fun once you get the hang of it. Enjoy and thanks for the content!
you were so close to keybinding your spells. go to options and where you saw action bars there is an option that says quick keybindings. hover over each spell you want to for each key bind. there's also options for targeting as well.
As an on-off player since Wow originally released I cannot wait for the next episode in the series! Killing myself laughing at ‘travel to syphilis’ 😂👌 seems you’re having a good time, believe me even a veteran player like myself after a break comes back and just goes ‘huh?’
You're not locked into your talent spec, you can switch your talents on the fly and switch to fire/arcane if you wanted too. To make new keybinds for the extra action bars, go to options > keybinds and click the quick keybind mode button at the top.
Started watching yesterday! Love watching new players play this old gem :) Keep it up! Def worth a sub and like! Just a lil tip... game sound (esp in this video) was way too loud compared to your voice. :)
Yey, I finished the series. I enjoyed it so much, your personality feels genuine and very nice. Hopefully one day yo continue with the episodes. A question for other watchers, how could he accept "The Dying World" without being lvl 50?
fun to watch as someone who has played since 2006. One video suggestion in general: your mic was a bit low compared to teh game volume in this episode. Keep it up! love watchin
Its so weird that blizzard chose BfA as the default starting expansion for new players. Nice to see you are still having fun with it tho, cant wait for the next episode! :)
@@jasperius1995 maybe, but its also good, it would be quite the disconnetc doing boring get 10 bear ass qeusts from 15 years ago, and then doing modern stuff.
@@soulcleave2386 Wdym, that kind of quests are literally all over the place in any newer expansions, i just find it sad they'll be max lvl and possibly haven't even seen durotar and elwyn forest
Yeah, you might say that Lady Jaina has baggage... This is where your compatriots come in. There are RU-vid channels that will explain all the lore inside WoW and there is a lot! Not only the in game stuff dating all the way back to Warcraft, Warcraft II and Warcraft III, but also books, comics and graphic novels. You really can go as deep into this game as you want to.
I've been playing WoW for ~11-12 years now, and I love this series so far! One tiny suggestion, though, that someone else mentioned, is that your mic is very quiet. In some parts of the video, it was very hard to hear you :(
I am new to Wow also and am doing the free trial option for now. So far I like it. I mostly played Runescape and Call of dity so this is all new to me for sure.
I used to shit on players i see in-game who seem to be running around like a headless chicken, especially in dungeons. After seeing your vids, I decided to be nicer next time and actually offer to help.
If you decide to play ally on stormrage I'll give you some gold, a reagent bag and four 32 slot main bags. Be sure ck the bank and auction house. Also pick up professions so you can craft and/or gather. Many things sell well on the ah, but they do take a cut when it is listed
yeah it is leaving out some key information and is holding the players hand too much to make them think independently. i think it should have like a clear optional in depth guide in game for some of the mechanics and interface option etc.
