Quite by accident did I see your videos because I am not a “horse person” at all. But I have become hooked on your and Matt’s story. Have enjoyed watching your lives progress.. At the young age of 77, I am learning about a whole new world. You both are such sweet and kind people.
Love the time you and Matt spend desensitizing your horses to new experiences. I am 73 and love animals and when younger had appaloosa horses from the time of their birth until the end of their life. I wish I would have had a partner like both of you to share with the love of animals
He did great for his first time! 😄 When I was working at an equine sport rehabilitation facility I was the one working primarily with the horses on the aquatrainer. One thing that might be helpful is getting a net on a stick and having someone stand near the hind end and hold it close to the tail to catch any manure. It's best if possible to keep any of that from getting into the water and it makes it a more pleasant experience for everyone involved haha. Of course you would still need to spray off the horse after but it keeps the smell away at least and it's better for the equipment. In my experience at least 💛
If I was to kick the bucket tomorrow I would want to come back as one of Matt and jesses horses the 5 star care and love they put into their horses , they are true horseman 👌x
Thinking Antares did a very good job for his first try, as you said Jesse, he is such a good boy. Really enjoy watching you guys work together. Thanks for taking us along Jesse and Matt, see you soon!
Hey Guys! You know that slurping sound you BOTH make when talking? Well! I watched an older video os Matt and His Mother and GUESS WHO THE CULPRIT IS!?! Matts Mom LOL! 🤣 And Jesse ADORES Matt so much, he's picked up the habit! I think it's CUTE!
Jesse's moving like an 80-year-old man, lol. Hope you feel better soon, Jesse! The aqua trainer is awesome for recovery and fitness goals. Terrific for joint health. ❤
Such an interesting video. Antares did a great job for his first time, and Matt’s and Lara’s expertise was really helpful. It’s a bit stressful introducing a horse to this, but with Jesse close by, Antares was calm as he tried to get the hang of things. Great work everyone.
You guys are so kind and thoughtful with your animals. And your interaction with each other makes me laugh. Such a pleasure to watch your videos and follow your adventures. Wishing you all the best!
So good to see Antares not panicking. I remember Sureno trying to jump out and really not liking it. He really was a big boy, and I was so scared he would get injured. Glad Antares came out o.k. Also, happy you were so patient with him. Love you guys...best of luck with your new home!
Well done, Antares! Just want to thank both of you for sharing your lives all these years, I enjoy your videos so much. I'm glad you are feeling more settled in the new place and hope you have all good luck finding your forever home.
That was nice to see Antares do this too… maybe you Jesse should calm your muscles like that as well? I hope you’re feeling better. It is always a treat to watch you guys. Antares is such a sweet horse.
Yes, it seem to come naturally that we are more polite and guarded when we speak to others, but at home you are just yourself. That’s ok as long as you are not insulting or demeaning😊. Love you both
Really liked your story of trip to Spain and your wonderful work on photography for Matt. The horse, Buria, is very impressive. Reminds me of some really excellent Andalusian school horses that I had the opportunity to ride. Also, love your methods of training. Yes, we love you all on RU-vid.
I have always wanted to see how you get a horse to train in these things, thank you so much! No doubt easier with a "Jesse trained brave horse" of course so it looked less scary. Absolutely loved this!
Jesse, love the videos you and Matt produce - not overly polished, but so informative! We use aquatrainers with dogs and I’m jealous of your access as we must go to sports medicine clinics. Your poor back and legs! You need the aqua trainer yourself.
I think we call that 'seedy toe' here in Australia. Very interesting in the aqua trainer. I guess the horses find their balance after a couple of times in it but it's great exercise for them ❤
Just to let you know. The lava stone bracelet is wonderful to put a favorite essential oil on the beads. The rock is porous and the oil will stay on it for a while. It won’t discolor the beads. I personally like lavender oil. It’s very calming but you can chose whatever you like. The scent is subtle but so relaxing or invigorating (if you choose that kind of oil)
My favourite detangler is an oil ! Vetsense Eliminots ..Which also makes it shiny. What’s the best effax one? I can’t read the German properly, even though I’m half German half Dutch
That's an exceptional machine. Like when we have ice storms! I don't know if you guys have those , they make everything to do with walking brutal! He is trying , but maybe a little unsure🤭. JO JO IN VT 🇺🇸💞
Wow❤he did excellent going up and in with something totally new. And did well for such a noisy machine. Jesse 😅you look like a 90 year old man atm with your movements 😂. Do you have a cream called deep heat? Thats great to rub in your knees helps a lot but don't get the smelly one it stinks.
Omg Im in 🇦🇺 and I’m hooked on the effax products, the spray in shampoo, the whitening spray , the leather conditioner is amazing …. Are there any there any other that u recommend
Enjoyable video! Antares did well for his first time in the aqua trainer. Maybe it’s time to invest in a hot tub for the humans to help those tight and aching muscles.
Go to a chiropractor who does The Activator Method!! asap No cracking or snapping of bones. Use ice packs! Looks like you have strained your spine and muscles irritating nerves. Help now will prevent problems later! Your career is important and your youth makes these things seem just a strain and nuisance!! Acupuncture and water therapy will speed recovery! Just Do It! 😊❤❤
I absolutely agree!!! What seems like just a painful nuisance now can become big joint problems in the future. 😱 🤕😩!!! If U want 2 keep riding & caring for yr horses & enjoying life, take the time to take care of yourself NOW!! 🙂 Can U also please explain how U hurt yr leg(s) and/or back? 😢 We might learn a preventative lesson from your experience. 💥❤️💥
Jesse, you need a different farrier. Find a good barefoot farrier and that crack will be dealt with in a better way and the general shape of his hooves will be more natural. Nice video - I like seeing your love for the horses.
I like the way you ride the test ride…. No over bending no pressure stacking and trying to open the poll as much as you get with the baroque breeds…. Beautiful👌🏾 quiet and clean 👌🏾I think if you are going to make this regular objective …… learn the language …….. it’s a sign of respect in Amy culture if you know more ….. especially in regards to specific equestrian based key Spanish phrasing and questions. 👍🏾
Hi I'm new to your RU-vid video, and I really in joyed it, how long have both of you been working with horses, and you do shows with them or do you do race track, and not wait to see more of your will show.
just have 2 say this 🤭 ... Matt is soooo sexy with his scruffy beard! Now if we could just see him with longer curly wild hair I know I'd just faint ... 🤤😋😜!!!
Thank you Jesse for your vedio; I know it's been said before; but Matt harnacke could be just a little kind to you. I perhaps would have gone off on him with so many snide remarks.
I was expecting 2 C Matt scrub Antares's leg so Jesse wouldn't have to bend down because his legs hurt so bad. Missed opportunity, Matt, 2 show how much U care about him. 😢
Antares reacted well to his first session in the aquatrainer. He remained calm and courageous, and his confidence in Jesse did the rest. The benefits of the aquatrainer are very real, but the noise and especially the moving floor can frighten a horse. After a few sessions, it will become a routine. Congrats Antares, you did great!!! Big kiss on your nose 👏🥰 Thanks to the three of you! 💙
Love the interactions between you two. Compliment each other perfectly. Matt so controlled and ordered and Jesse so spontaneous 😂. Great video. Love the behind the scenes goofy stuff as well. 🙏🇦🇺
@@JesseDrent Happy to hear you are functioning normally again 😂You may want to be careful with too much 'Leg Day training.' You have very nice legs now when you wear shorts or a bathing suit. It's always an added bonus to see your legs in videos riding your horses at the beach. I wouldn't like to see you spoil your nice legs by bulking them up with big muscles. 🥰
@@chasingfences1302 I was thinking the same thing, Jesse's legs are perfect now in his videos with the horses and ponies at the beach. He shouldn't make them too muscly. I guess Jesse didn't realize he is a sex symbol with those sexy legs! 😂😍
Antares did so well in the Aquatrainer! He even did the Spanish Walk!! Hope your sore legs are feeling better,Jesse. Love seeing you and Matt working together in your new temporary home! Stay safe and well. xoxo Much Love,Hugs, and Kisses from the USA.😊😘😘😊
Hi Jesse. I'm new to your channel but already a big fan. It has been a number of years since I last owned horses. I sold my farm 9 years ago and now mostly travel and living a minimalist life. You have peaked my interest in the Netherlands. Perhaps I will add it to my list of countries to visit. I look forward to following your life as new opportunities make themselves available. Thank you for sharing.
Sorry you are injured, Jesse- make a quick recovery. This was great to watch. Antares was such a good boy and towards the end, he really seemed to be enjoying it. Happy to see that everything is going well and you are enjoying yourselves. Sending love to you both + Antares.
Antares did well for his first try in the Aquatrainer. It must be such a worry for a horse owner that their horse spooks and damages themselves. I love the bickering between Jesse and Matt. It reminds me of my hubby and I-although we’ve been together for over 30 years 😂 Glad to hear you’re settling in Jesse 😊
