FIRST TIME REACT | ATEEZ ( Crazy Form ) Was I Impressed? [ Reaction ] 

Make sure to see live performances because Ateez is known for live vocals and master level performances. They were the first kpop boy group to perform at Coachella for a reason. They also have a storyline since debut so you won't understand the mv if you're new to Ateez. The simplified version is that Ateez is from our universe ( Universe A) and their alter egos Halateez ( from Universe Z) are asking them for help because in their universe, the government has banned emotions and art. Ateez are time and dimension traveling pirates and agree to help Halateez free the people who are being brainwashed. The government knows about their plan and sends an android to stop them. The sandclock or cromer as the Ateez lore calls it, is how they travel. It's all really cool and complex. They are having a comeback at the end of the month and we're excited to get more clues to their lore.

You were closer than you thought when you said,” Comic Book.” ATEEZ’s music and videos are almost all part of a giant fictional storyline that is very much like a comic or an anime. In the story Ateez are a crew of pirates gifted a magic hour glass that allows them to travel through time on the full moon. (On the crescent moon they can communicate with people in the past or the future through dreams) they also have the ability to cross between dimension A where they come from and dimension Z where these bad guys with no faces come from and where Ateez’ doppelgängers, Halateez (known as the Black Pirates) are from. Crazy Form is the last episode in a chapter where Halateez has disappeared and Ateez has crossed into dimension Z in a dystopian future and become stranded when their hour glass breaks. They set up a resistance movement to try to take down the corrupt government (which is run by the bad guys with no faces again) and restore autonomy to the populace, while trying to find another method of returning to their own time and dimension that does not include the broken hourglass.

You pronounced ATEEZ correctly! ATEEZ are an 8 member boy group from Korea (the 8th member is the one with the pistol--he was recovering from an injury so he wasn't in the dance scenes) . ATEEZ and BTS are the only kpop boy groups to get into the UKs top 3. This album also hit #1 on Billboard's 200, and ATEEZ recently performed at Coachella as well. Not only was this part of series of videos, but it was the last of the series. I suggest Guerrilla (blend of hip hop and rock with some metal elements), Halazia (kind of ethereal with unusual instruments and an EDM twist), and Bouncy (a hype banger). They are 1 through 3 in The World series. In this series, the members are the black pirates hence using a pirate ship as a distraction to escape the police. The line said the black pirates have broken into the lounge referring to the first rapper driving his car through the wall. Stray Kids tends to lean a bit more rap heavy while ATEEZ tend to lean more to vocals, but Crazy Form isn't a good example of that (Guerrilla and Halazia are better examples). Stray Kids and ATEEZ debuted six months apart and several members are friends with each other. The best description I've heard is if Stray Kids are like the band kids making beats in the back of the classroom, ATEEZ are the theater kids using the front as their stage while the teacher is gone (they are known as performance kings).

Great! Ateez deserve recognition for the hard work they do since day 1! I recommend you to react to the mvs Hala-Hala, Halazia, Guerrilla, Bouncy, Inception... There are a lot more, but these are my favs!

They have some of the absolute best music production in K-pop. None of them are doing what Ateez does as smoothly as they do it. I'm more of a alt rock fan, but Ateez came onto my radar about two years ago and they make straight up ear candy that I'm addicted to now.

There is a complex lore that goes along with Ateez MVs, which is won't get too deep into but you are right that this is one of a series of videos. The " Black Pirates" are actually Ateez themselves, the leaders of a rebellion against a tyrannical government ( within the context of the storyline). I'm going to guess that you like rock based on your outro music? If so I reccomend their MV Guerrilla. I also reccomend Halazia because I just really really love that song

Guerilla, the real and halazia are great next videos to check out. Ateez are brilliant, a lot of their music is really proggy and they make the best albums in all of kpop in my opinion. They are extremely well constructed.

hellooooo, thank u for reacting to ateez!! you're right kpop bands get hate, not only outside but inside the kpop fandom (fanwars)! im subscribing because you mentioned final fantasy haha. it's easy to introduce ateez to anime fans and gamers 😁 they're gonna have new music soon, and according to their lore they will be going back to 'World A' (they are dimension travelling pirates you see, and in this video Ateez are called the black pirates broken into units, doing their own quests needed to finally leave this dimension called World Z). sooooo different world different sound, no one knows how the new music will sound like. Ateez experiment a lot 😊 lastly there's actually 8 of them, jongho (main vocal the one shooting up Wanted style) was recovering from surgery so he couldn't join the dance.

One of the members performs so hard on stage that he tends to break his headsets. They are actually friends with Stray Kids. Actually a lot of groups are friends with others. Which is why fan wars are so dumb. I think people hate so much on kpop because they are convinced that they fake everything.

Stray kids and Ateez are actually really good friends and would choose to collaborate with each other again. Yes, I said again. They did a collaboration along with BTOB members in The Ledgendary Kingdom. They are on RU-vid it you want to watch. All 3 performances are amazing. 😊
