FYI: Indonesians are usually bilingual: Indonesian and local ethnic languages everyday so English can be third/fourth. Putri's English accent is very good even though she is only 8 years old. He was the winner of Indonesia Got Talent 2014 at that time.
Her dad may always walk her to the stage, but her mom likes to stay just out of camera range, but she always has her daughter in sight to make sure she is Safe, and with a simple gesture by Putri to her mom she will be next to her within a second ❤

Prior to IGT, Putri took part in a local singing competition. However, she was treated unfairly. For a year after that, she gave up singing. One day, she told her father that she wanted to be on TV in the following year. So, she joined IGT. Putri's parents sacrificed a lot to support her. Putri was born in a small town in Sumatra Island. Her mother gave up a successful restaurant when they had to relocate to a bigger city in order for Putri to attend a school for special needs students to learn the Braille. Later on, Putri's father also quit his job to fully support Putri. Bless them ❤️❤️❤️. Putri learned to play the piano when she was about ten. Her parents enrolled her in a classic piano course, but Putri quit it after only one day. Putri said that she was bored doing the do re mi ... all the time. She then told her parents that she would learn to play the piano by herself. So, Putri basically had no vocal coaching and piano training. Anggun Cipta Sasmi, who was mentioned by Putri as her favorite singer, is a famous Indonesian-French singer. Her most famous song was "Snow on the Sahara." She was also a judge in Asia's Got Talent.

In the video, Putri talked about the obstacles that she had to overcome to get where she is now. She sang three of her songs: "Loneliness", "Kaulah Selalu Ada" (You are Always There for Me), and "Selalu Ada Harapan" (There is always Hope). These three songs depicted Putri's life: She was lonely; she didn't have any friends (Loneliness), she talked about it in the second song, asking why people shun her. I know how cruel children can be to people who are different from them. But she was lucky to have people who are always there for her (her family). Despite all of these hurdles, she never lost hope (the third song). The last song becomes the theme song of the biggest distant-learning App in Indonesia (Ruang Guru/Teacher's Room). So, these are the reasons why Putri could relate to the broken heart songs that she sang. Do you know that Loneliness was not well-received after she launched it in September 2022? In an interview with a national TV station not long after AGT audition, Putri said that like the title, "Loneliness" was lonely because not many people had viewed it. Putri made a lot of versions of "Loneliness" to no avail. Thinking It was her first English song. She wrote it after somebody told her that she would never be able to compose her own song. She turned her sadness into a heartbroken song. Despite her handicap and the hurdles that life throws at her, Putri remains her positive self. When asked how she had raised Putri, her mother said that it was Putri who had always motivated her to be strong. Some people accused Putri of selling her sob story to gain people's sympathy. But as you saw on her audition, it just wasn't true.

Yess, Ariani Nisma Putri is her full name, but they made it became Putri Ariani for the stage purpose, and now we called her Putri which is means princess in English. In Indonesia it is common someone is having a quiet long full name, sometimes consists of 4 words not to include the family/clan name, it could be 5 to 6 words.

I have cousins born as premature triplets, 2 did not live and the 3rd was put in an oxygen tube but she got too much oxygen causing her to be blind for the rest of her life. She learned how to play piano, cook, crotchet and she wrote 3 books. This little girl reminds me of her a little bit.

11:05 let me answer that.. she began learn the piano when she was 10, and.. She wrote and released her own song when she was 11, by autodidact.. Imagine that.. She achieved fluency in piano in just 1 year !

The strength of her voice is stunning. And she is absolutly adorable. You stopped the video too soon. The last moment is very sweet and funny. Putri is wearing short trousers, probably a little bit too large for her and it goes down. At the moment when she leaves the stage with her parents, she has a quick movement to take the trousers up ! I look at this video also for that moment...so touching !
