First Time Reacting To: A guide to ITZY: 2022 edition 

so, about how they know english is... since they released english version for NOT SHY, they started to learn english together so now they have a really great improvement in english. all of them now so good in english, i'm so proud.

Lia sang City of Stars with Felix and Chan. I actually thought she was the visual of the group. But it was Ryujin's famous shoulder dance that made me notice Itzy.

And the JYP fam gets bigger! The first thing that drew me towards ITZY was their personalities (THEY ARE FUNNNNNNYYY) and relationships with one another. I wished the guide got into more depth on that aspect. There are plenty of ITZY content out there, including fan compilations, to help you get to know their personalities. They have some great B-sides as well that contrasts the energy of their Title Tracks and we get to see different colors of their voices. And one last thing, there are plenty of cute, funny, and chaotic ITZY/SKZ/JYP FAM interaction content out there as well. Some of the highlights involve the most recent ISAC event (Chan vs Ryujin), SKZ reacting to ITZY live performances, and one of my favorite of all time was when ITZY (I'll keep it as a surprise as to who) made a mistake during an awards event speech, SKZ' reaction to the mistake was caught on cam and ummmmm let's just say the SIBLING ENERGY WAS REAL! Another favorite of mine is how ITZY reacted to an awards show host who was revealing the winner through multiple hints that were pointing to SKZ. ITZY members immediately knew who the host was referring to and it was so cute how excited they were for each other's success!

Love that you're diving into more girl groups on youtube as well now 😍 Itzy are such good performers and their sound is so catchy! There have only been a handful of kpop songs that were life-changing on the first listen for me and Wannabe is one of them.

The mmtg episodes were about choosing songs from groups that need to redo a comeback so they picked idols that know a lot about kpop,groups,etc. The guy you didn't remember was Ren who was in Nu'est

Jyp hired an english tutor for itzy , you can watch them learn english in itzy?itzy! Episodes 64 & 65 Idk if the 3 members had a background on speaking english, I only know that lia went to canada & studied in an international school in korea Ryujin mentioned in a live wuth yuna & in her solo vlive that she learned english during her chiodhood I can say that all of them improved a lot & I'm so rproud ofvthem You should also watch their english interviews as well

13:00 that's not true. Ryujin made the 3rd place behind Yeji and Yuna in that hitting game. But in that line bouncing afterwards Ryujin actually would have won the guinness world record since the record was 107 or 108 at that time. They just didn't have an official Guinness world record juror on the show so it didn't count :(

You need to react to itzy’s interview with jae jae, jessi showterview and chaeryeong’s youngji interview. Also there are a ton of itzy content like itz playtime, csi itzy, paris et itzy, LA @ itzy, itz tourbook and that video where they imitate midzy called “midzy? midzy!” is hilarious!

As far as I know Lia and Ryujin seem to be the only ones able to keep up with a conversation in english (Lia is obviously better, but Ryujin is pretty good too), Yuna's Korean accent really comes out when she gets fired up. All five seem to be able to read and comprehend english to some degree though Watching an english compilation, their "compliment battle", their interrogation with kids, or really any english interviews would be good if you want to see their confidence levels (Any of their stuff is fun though, can't wait to see more)

ITZY released all their title tracks in English and said going forward this would be standard. They all studied English growing up, but never had a chance to practice speaking since there is little chance to use English in Korea. So they studied privately at JYP for their promotions and recording. Also they said they wanted to communicate directly with global fans. Lia went to international schools after she returned from Canada so she held on to her language skills (Which you lose if you don't use them). The order of skill in ITZY is Lia (Fluent) Ryujin (conversational) Chaeryeong (conversational) Yeji (mostly conversational) Yuna (same as Yeji but is improving). You should watch some of their variety content it's next level funny. Thank You for sharing. Thumbs up.
