Yoongi is a literal genius and the meaning goes way deeper than this! Fun fact: Daechwita only has one beat throughout the whole song and the different "beats" we hear are from Yoongi's rapping and tone. this man is next level

This is my 1yr olds favorite song. As a baby this is the only thing that would stop him from crying. Suga aka Yoongi bka AgustD also happens to be my 5yr olds bias. If you ask her she will tell you hands down "Suga, that's my boy"

As people have already mentioned, the dichotomy of the two Sugas is between the old him (presumably from the hair color, the yoongi of Agust D in 2016) and where he’s at now. He’s explained it in a behind the scenes while making the music video, and there are also a few compilations up talking about this. Either way, it’s a fantastic song and video, and I love how it highlights his musical prowess and intelligence!

Fun fact: Daechwita was released on May 22nd on 2020. So: 2+2+2+2+5 (May)= 13. 13 is the date of their debut. If you go and check the songs from his first mixtape, you'll see the same thing. 😎

actually Suga did mentioned that the bottom Suga represents the "old Suga" in bantan bomb. essentially, King Suga represents the successful idol that he is now. Old Suga is afraid that he will become tyrannical and arrogant, so his old self is killing him off his new self....something like that.

Besides Suga's comments, it's also interesting to see what Bookish Theories found out, really interesting info represented by Suga's costumes etc so worth watching that too just to complete the picture. I think that Suga and BTS in general leave their art open to interpretations, otherwise they wouldn't leave so many clues.... so not only just what he has said it means, but what Army also find is all acceptable. So don't leave that reaction out because it's worth it, it really shows Suga's intelligence. Edit: just as an aside, the pic Ron pointed out as a likely tattoo is a recent buy for me and I love it! Such a great pic.

There's actually another BTS genuine reactor his name is DT Parker who got almost all the boys tattooed on his body. So far he got the maknae line on his full right sleeve, Suga on his right chest (Daechwita) and currently his getting his RM tattoo on his left chest done....he is also gonna have Jhope and Jin done soon....you should check him out on Insta so you'll see his tattoos :)

I love listening to Daechwita it's such a great song and the music video is amazing and it would be great if you could react to Bookish Theories explanation video aswell it's way more detailed and there are some cool things that they point out in the video that you would find really cool

I love this kind of videos. Now I am more aware of the meaning behind the lyrics but I also like the fact, that the lyrics have smart references to the history and stuff that majority of Koreans are aware of. It's easy to write a song with a "funky beat" and meaningless lyrics but create a catchy song with sophisticated lyrics- that's just a whole different level. I also watched a reaction video where professional musicians where explaining why this is song (even if we don't understand the lyrics) is so mesmerizing. It is very interesting to know which parts Suga did differently from other artists and what is a music theory behind the fact that we, listeners, like certain parts of the song :D

But there is another RU-vidr named DT Parker who right now has a tattoo of Suga as Agust D the rebel and the mad king on his Chest! If you guys ever check out his channel he has started a BTS tattoo tribute to our boys BTS, for example I explain to you about the Daechwita tattoo on his right chest side and on his left chest side he has a beginning tattoo that he hasn’t quite finished yet of Nam Joon the leader of BTS and a wolfs head it is incredible and not only that his right sleeve is completely the maknae line V, JiMin ( who is his bias) JungKook he’s starting his J Hope tattoos ! Absolutely beautiful work the guy who does his tattoos he is a very sought after tattooist he does the most incredible artwork if you get ever check out Dietes Parker’s channel he does show his tattoos from time to time and believe me absolutely gorgeous work so if you’re going to get a tattoo oh please get a really nice one that will complement you as well as the artist because this guy is like expensive but DT said no to any other tattooist because he knows that this guy‘s work is incredible I don’t know who the guy is but if you ever get it A chance maybe you can talk to DT Parker and he can tell you if you’re interested in the tattoo artist that he is using! The lyrics are actually quite more than what we get to hear if we analyze more about it.
