First Time Reacting to ALL RWBY OPENINGS!

Btw, the company that worked on RWBY allows reactors to react to their show without any worry of copyright!! Songs as well, so you can have unedited reactions and such! (I think RWBY: Ice Queendom is the only exception since it was made by a different company)

A little tip for future YT uploads of RWBY content, you don't have to overlay the footage. Rooster teeth is super supportive of react content for RWBY. The few times other creators have had issues with auto claims, they've DM'd them on Twitter and they manually resolve the claim. Awesome content my dude!

Everything's in English because that's the native language of Rooster Teeth (the company that made it). Also Rooster Teeth is very supportive of reactions to their content. They will help you with any issues that might pop up for reacting to their stuff if you message them because all the problems that happen is from RU-vid's automatic system.

Not many people notice that Yang lost an arm. And Volume 9 isn't the last one. They are still working on RWBY.

Tbh, should've saved watching the openings for when you reach each season, cause it'd spoiled ya a ton. :P

So once you've reacted to each season, you should react to the ost for the season you just watched. It's all great pieces of music but each song relates to a character and the lyrics give you insights into those characters. Helps you understand them better for the following seasons.

This show is in English because rooster teeth is a company in Austin Texas. So yeah the show is American. As a Texan it makes me happy that this came out of my state.

Two seconds into the volume 3 opening, "It's getting sad, isn't it?" Yes.

Random little fact. All of the openings were produced by a guy named Jeff Williams, and his daughter, Casey Lee Williams, sings all of them. She was only 13 when she sang the first opening. Jeff stepped away from RWBY after Volume 8, and Casey took over along with her band. They have a different vibe musically which why the Volume 9 opening immediately feels different.

I would not have recommended watching the openings early lol... In fact I would have said not to watch them... Hopefully you forget most of it, although the journey is still pretty cool regardless of if you know or not... Glad you're enjoying it regardless ^_^;;. As you're aware by now, the show is American, hence the English... Although there are anime with English opening/Endings too... I think Wolf's Rain is the only one I can think of that originally had a mostly English soundtrack though, off the top of my head... Serial Experiments Lain has an English opening, by a band from England... I'm not sure how that happened, but it's cool lol... I think the song just happened to become a hit in Japan and they decided to use it for the opening...There were also quite a few older anime that either dubbed the songs with English lyrics or created completely new songs (This is more often the case with mainstream anime shows between maybe the 1960s up to the early 2000s)... Some other countries did it as well (except into their own languages)... On top of this, they weren't always used in the shows, but sometimes the Japanese would record English versions of some of the songs too... I'm not sure if it was recorded with the idea of it being used in English speaking countries or just for fun or whatever, but sometimes you'll come across them... English versions vary from being based on the Japanese versions to being just completely new lyrics written to the same tune lol. The RWBY soundtrack is really cool to listen to after each volume/season... Partly because the main female singer for the show was like around 13 or 14 when they recorded for the first volume... Might have even been 12, I forget... But yeah, you get to hear her voice grow up with the show, which is really neat... In volume 7 she even writes one of the songs, one of her band's songs were used in volume 8 and I think she has taken over from her dad in writing the songs for volume 9 (which might be why the opening song seems somewhat different to the rest... Other than the visuals)... Also, most of the songs are significant to the show... There's foreshadowing, there's character exploration, all sorts of extra stuff... Not all is relevant, some are just fun, but yeah... So many things get referenced in them too... Like there's a Yang song from volume 4 that references the yellow trailer... The show does a lot of cool stuff like that.

With the exception of the opening to Rwby: Ice Queendom, all of the openings are in English because the series is made in Austin Texas, United States. 👀 The series is still very much on going, although season 10 is not likely to start until later in the fall. ✌️

If you don't have the context of the end of volume 8, you won't understand why the opening of 9 is different from the others (the settings, other characters, etc.) XD

Yeah Volume 9 is...an adventure, it's definitely a step in a drastically different direction.

Some main info: Team RWBY consists of Ruby Rose (Red), Weiss Schnee (White), Blake Belladonna (Black) Yang Xiao Long (Yellow). Ruby and Yang are sisters JNPR consists of Jaune Arc (the one you thought was related to Yang) Nora Valkyrie (the one with orange hair) Pyrrha Nikos (the one with long red hair) and Lie Ren (the one with long black hair). The ‘castle’ their in is their Academy. The old guy is the ‘hero’ and the weird monster lady is the villain. The show is currently in hiatus as V10 isn’t green-lit yet however it’s on react to get green-lit (at least as far as I know)

It is not sensei. He is Adam - Blake's ex(black one). He is a terrorist and criminal, Blake used to be one too because faunus(their race) are discriminated against. But as once organization that organized peaceful protests for their rights became more and more violent she defected. Adam is a very bad guy with a sad backstory with does not give him an excuse to be a manipulative jerk and hurt innocent people who had nothing to do with his trauma.

So Rooster Teeth likes people reacting to their stuff, so they are fine with unedited reactions, if any problems do arise they are with YT and you can probably resolve them with Rooster Teeth themselves

It's actually quite funny, the openings of RWBY have been designed in a way that you can hardly pick out the storyline it's following. Or rather it's impossible to guess what the story is about if you don't watch the series.

Plus their budget has gotten much larger over the seasons - 'no human conflict'? 🤨 Dude, team RWBY is shown fighting other people in most of the openings - Season 9 is the _most recent season_ it's not the final season. - yeah, Vol 9 is supposed to be pretty trippy (I haven't gotten around to watching it yet)

Yeah vol is a fever dream. I do suggest since you will be reacting to try to forget all the things you saw from these things. Also, on the languages and music. Roosterteeth is a company in Texas, and their content is all in english. Some say it aint anime because of this, but due to the style, many consider it anime adjacent, like Atla. The songs are all in english, with each volume having its own soundtrack. Vol 1-8 are written and produced by Jeff Williams and his daughter Casey Lee Williams. After Vol 8, Jeff retired and Casey lead the music production for Vol 9, doing wonderfully. If you end up not enjoying rwby, there are very few who dislike the music. Its amazing and well done, and many songs include hidden meanings behind characters, adding to the show's content.

its not that more "work" has been put into these volumes, but they had much more budget after RWBY massively took off, its been incredible to watch their team grow and subsequently, their quality :D

Alyx does not join them in Vol9 she's simply a Plot hook for that Arc

You surprised me by noticing Yang (yellow girl) losing her arm, most reactioners doesnt notice it while watching the openings, i guess that spoils you that season 3 finale didnt was great for the protagonist and may gave you an idea of why they get separated by season 4, trauma recovery is not an easy thing... :(
