You're reaction cracked me up! The way you were like 'I like him...oh he sound amazing too....wow he is great.....damn you too?!' Such a mood honestly! haha Forestella is simply divine! You were spot on with the fact that all four of these guys are amazing singers and stand out on their own! Such different backgrounds too- two classically trained, one musical theatre actor and one who had no background in music at all except for being in a highschool band! I know you love checking out more of their stuff, fans here have recommended some really great stuff. They are also a hilarious group together, their lives when they switch parts with each other is so funny to watch but also amazing when you see how they tackle each others parts- it goes to show once again how each member is indispensable! They also have done lives where they sang their songs 2x speed, once again hilarious but also amazing!

I am glad you enjoy our dear Forestella. “Forest… stella” = star in the forest….The deep voice guy is Ko Woorim (first name is Woorim, as Koreans put family names first). He has unfortunately taken a leave of absence from the group for about 18 months , as he had to go fulfill his mandatory military service. The other 3 had already done it. For now, the group is still performing, but with only three members. There are lots and lots of performances for you to react to though , they have been very active for the last five years. Please react to “Lazenca save us” for an idea of their power.

Forestella is a vocal quartet consisting of Bae Doohoon, Kang Hyungho, Cho Mingyu and Ko Woo Rim. They debuted in 2018, after teaming up for the finale of the second season of Phantom Singer in 2017, which they won.

The first person to sing was Min-gyu Cho(classical leggiero tenor, light boyish crystal clear tone). The second is Doo-hun Bae(Musical actor, 159th King of the Masked Singers, emotion convincer good at R&B, Pop) the third is Woo-rim Ko(classical bass, intense abyss-deep low tone), and the last is Hyeong-ho Kang(ex-research chemist, rock vocalist with soprano falsetto voice) Each has distinct tone and style of singing, different charm. But all of them are famous as Practice bugs. l think this explains how their perfection can be executed.

Forestella was maden from the crossover quartet competition show 'Phantom Singer 2' (2017) , and the name means Forest + Stella (star) {and it could be Four+ Forest + Stella 😊} They sang many classical opera songs first , when after they sang Bohemian Rhapsody in 2019 on KBS TV, they became popular to Korea to World-wide Four of members normally stand on the stage this order. * Ko Woo-rim (Bass / Classical training) * Kang Hyung-ho (Countertenor, Rock / Chemical engineer) * Cho Min-Gyu (Tenore leggier / Classical training) * Bae Doo-Hoon (Tenore, Pop / Musical actor)

The lyric bass is Ko Woo-Rin (woorin) lyric teacher, Kan hyung-ho (Pitta) rock tenor, soprano, chemical engineer, Cho Ming-gyu (Minggu) lyric singer, light lyric tenor, leader and the fourth is Bae Doo Hoon. Baritone musical actor. They are great, they feel so much passion that they transmit it and make you fly. Big is not enough, fantastic and unique. YOU HAVE TO KNOW...FREDDIE MERCURY AND QUEEN DID NOT EVER PERFORM THE MIDDLE SECTION LIVE. They said it was too hard so they always put a video recording on for the quadrant singing section, then they'd return with May's guitar leading them back on stage. But Forestella always does this live and kills it.

Yes, you are so right, each voice is outstanding and has that certain something. But, as different as they are, together they are indescribable. A unique symbiosis of gifted talents and emotions. The one who shouts "oooh baby" is Bae Doo-Hoon, in "Despacito" he's the one who sounds like "Luis Fonsi". The bass is Ko Woo-Rim and some people think he has a subwoofer in his chest. The resonance of his chocolate voice could actually make you think about this.

Thanks for your reaction to Forestella again! Forestella first sang their version of Bohemian Rhapsody in the KBS Immortal Songs which is a kind of remake competition music entertainment show. It made them known to the world, and later they put it in their 2nd album titled Mystique. They had concert tour under the title Mystique. This video was filmed at the Mystique encore concert, the last of the tour. I prefer their Immortal Songs video because we can see their acting in the performance there. Here it's too dark to see it well.. I recommend Forestella Queen's best songs compilation video on KBS Jeonju channel. There are 2 more Queen renditions in addition to the very first performed Bohemian Rhapsody by Forestella. If you check their various language skills I recommend Shape of you (they sang it in English, Spanish and isiZulu), Inner Universe (in Russian, English and Latin), Je suis malade (in French) and Nella Fantasia (in Italian). Coming up next is "Standing Next To You"? And you've reacted to a whole buncha artists I've never heard of. Between my obsession with Forestella (gonna hold you to your promise to keep reacting to them), my love for BTS, and just plain ol' curiousity, gonna subscribe. As for a song list. I'm going to recommend their originals "Utopia" and "Snow Globe". Both MV's are visual art, and then there's their voices! My personal favorite hispanic song is "Hijo de la Luna". Breathtaking. By the time you get caught up with their music available on RU-vid Woorim (Mr Deep Voice) will be back from his military service. PS Woorim has a whole series of songs available on RU-vid from his concert "Black". Even the fan made videos are worth hearing. Cho Mingyu has many solo appearances as well. HyungHo (saprano with rocker growl) has a rock band under Pitta (his AKA). Doo-hoon is currently in a production of "Rent" in S Korea (because Forestella is on break until Woorim returns). Our boys are staying busy. I enjoy Pentatonix, The Tenors (a Canadian group). and Il Divo (International crossover group formed in GB), Forestella has a sound so unique and beautiful I can't even begin to compare them to anything else I've ever heard. Well, except maybe Mozart's music which sounds like a jam session to me.

Loving your Reactions. I get to relive my first reactions to them. Try "Bad Romance", "Shape of you", "Lazenca Save us", and work up to "Je suis malade". 😭 But, as you've already said.. Everything they do is amazing. Ko WooRim is the one with the deep voice (currently doing his Military Service). Cho Mingyu (who sang the "Mama just killed a man") has spectacular solo performances.. "Balade para un loco" is just breathtaking. Kang Hyung-Ho (the one singing the high notes) was a Research Chemist, who sang part time in a Rock band (PITTA). He had NO vocal training before the show creating Forestella. And, yes, the one after Ko WooRim that made you sit up is Bae Doo-Hoon (trained in Theatre). The emotion he delivered in "Je Suis malade" broke my heart. They have Hijo de La Luna, Angel, and Nella Fantasia as more Classical sounding, and Epics like "Warriors", Lazenca Save us" and "Legends never die". Enjoy your journey.
