Man, when they announced the creation of this series, I didn’t expect/think about John Stirling and man now I’m so about them - this is going to hurt so good and so bad at the same time.

@@justhana4779 Don't remember precisely. I did a binge of videos about Bridgerton and there was one that recounted the rumor and part of it was a bit of an interview with the creative director.

Lord Debling wasn’t in the books. They did a time jump of 10years. Pen as angry with colin. She did a small makeover but she wasn’t actively looking for a husband. Colin just figured out she was lady whistledown, they had the carriage scene and then he proposed.

yup! i realized after the fact that they probably added lord debling because her younger sister is not in the series, so they couldn't have that plot where penelope's mom couldn't try to marry off her younger sister to colin
