Hi again Britt, for the true Courtney Hadwin experience you need to watch her audition on American's Got Talent. She's only 13 there and will blow your mind! You'll see!!
Agreed, Courtney's audition was one of the most shocking & unexpected auditions ever, she has one of the greatest rock voices I think I've ever heard, she is spectacular, oh and those dance moves, just wow.
I think everyone would like for reactors to see that one 1st. It sets the tone for what's to come and you get to experience how a 13 year old can rock out like a seasoned artist and entertainer on stage. She is definitely the best stage performer of this time. Not sure which link Seancrane means with the judges bantering, but this is one of the most viewed AGT videos. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-gPHVLxm8U-0.html

Courtney was 14 when she sang the song breakable I've watched all her videos from the time she was nine years old until now everyone incredible he should check her out on her own channel on RU-vid
@@chuckvisconti5713 Chuck I think you've listened to Courtney's new song so much that you're now thinking "Breakable" at every moment. It is that good. I've been looping for the past 2 hours while working. Never tire of it.
@@bertpainter8385 Hey, Bert, Courtney seems to be getting more reactions now. BTW, I recently had a series of messages with someone you warned about--will just call him C. He started off pleasantly, and was supportive of Courtney. He gradually got darker, more into personal, as opposed to musical aspects, kind of off the rails, comparing her unfavorably to Olivia Rodrigo, etc. Finally, he COMPLETELY misinterpreted some of my remarks, deleted his messages and ghosted me in order to have the last word and run away from hearing any pushback. Interesting how online personalities are revealed.
@@bertpainter8385 Yeah, I thought about it and really left out a lot of details. Message me if you want more, or we could just forget and move on and support Courtney.
I am a rock fanatic. This lady is my eyes and phenomenon and she's going to be an icon in the rock world. She should just have the freedom to do her thing. In this lady I hear in the first place the vibes of Janis Joplin, mixed with James Brons, Tina Turner and many more greats from the past. She has made her own style which makes her the greatest talent ever for me. She also writes her own songs that she is now releasing. Her first is Breakeble. It gives me goosebumps. She is a singer/songwriter
Courtney was come a long way since she burst in to the world of music in the talent shows. Perhaps you might understand that she was inspired by Janis Joplin - she's on the road to success - no stopping this young lady!
Hi Britt. Great reaction. This Courtney performance was sensational. This is a small sample of why many of us not only think Courtney is a generational level talent vocally, but she has a creativity level that is just off the charts. She didn't only make this song her own. She blew the original version up and re-assembled it. She re-invented this Country/Hip Hop massive hit into this incredible rock anthem. Courtney said when she first heard this song, that she could envision this whole different way it could be sung in her head and she just had to sing it. Fortunately for all of us, she did. Whenever listening to a Courtney cover, always be familiar with the original, because Courtney's version will never sound anything like that initial version. She only does covers when she sees a different way a song could or should have been sung and her versions are always incredible. Shifting gears. Big news out of the Courtney camp is that she just dropped her debut original single called 'Breakable' on Feb 24th. It is an unbelievably beautiful song. A ballad with elements of the signature Courtney grit. Everything about this song is amazing. The vocals are fabulous, the lyrics hit you like a sledgehammer and the music video, which is just perfect for the song, re-enforces the the emotion of this song visually. No one can touch your soul when they sing like Courtney can. In this song, it feels like she is having a one on one conversation with your heart. Between all of the delays due to the lock downs and travel bans due to Covid and, after years of fighting to release the music that she loved and having labels try and twist her into something she didn't want to be, Courtney finally decided to go it on her own. In a true testament to her, she achieved in two months what the labels couldn't do in years. You've got to react to this incredible song. Fans have been waiting with so much anticipation for her debut original with so much anticipation, and Courtney not only delivered, but hit a home run in every possible way with 'Breakable'. I've put the link to the official YT video below. Now that Courtney has total control over her own music, it has been said to expect a release approximately every month. She has built up a huge song library of originals over the last several years and she has shared many of them, in whole or in part, with her fans, mostly over live chats on social media. They have been amazing. She is such a powerhouse as a songwriter. She has already announced that her second release will be more uptempo. Buckle up, because it's going to be quite a ride. Can't wait to see you reacting to all of her original music. Courtney Hadwin - 'Breakable': ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DOjyS5w1Ono.html
Wonderful reaction. You really seem to get Courtney. I knew it when you called her a rock star; a label put on her by just about everyone that's heard and seen her. I know others have told you this but you really should react to Courtney's first original release called Breakable. It is powerful, emotional, and honest. It's also quite different from the other Courtney songs you've reacted to so far. When you do react to it you can be sure I, and a LOT of others, will be here with you to enjoy it.
Everything you said here, so true. We will be here for sure. Sad thing to me is, if Courtney's label had let her release her original "Breakable" it would be all over the radio and making head waves. It may take longer on her own, but I still think '"Breakable" will get there. It relates to every human being.
Did someone say they want Britt to react to "Breakable"? Good choice. Link to official video here. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DOjyS5w1Ono.html&ab_channel=CourtneyHadwin
@ShanLiB Trudat!!! Courtney makes covers better than the originals in my opinion! Her Original Pretty Little Things should've Blown up! Been on the radio! The beverage bug really hurt her... slowed her momentum down! She Sooo original, to today's standards for sure, she'll explode if given a match!
Actually she is independent artist now and has released her first single breakable( 99c on all platforms)and video to go with it and now has over 100k views and climbing so she is now dependent on her fans to get her to the top
@@ouioui_lounge Would absolutely love to see Courtney in concert. But until she gets at least a few more songs released to the general public, it's very unlikely she'll start touring. She can mix in covers and a few unreleased originals to promote them, with those new releases she's going to release in the next few months, to have enough songs to make it a full show on her own in smaller venues or she can be a warm up for someone touring already from those artists and people who she already has met who have said she's going to be big. Right now, I don't think so. Maybe by summer's end. She knows, and is well liked already by some big name artists, that I bet would support her and help her to get to that point and maybe even have her tour with them. That, I can see happening for certain. To me, if Simon Cowell could have helped her he would have by now. He may be one of those who are on her list of people in the business who let her down, hopefully he's not. One thing I believe that is for certain, when that day comes that she's starts touring, she's going to make huge waves among people who haven't yet heard of her in both the music business and the general public. Who don't want to see someone perform as only Courtney can? She's one of the best singer/entertainers on a stage that we've ever seen. And that is saying a lot.
Beatles built their reputation playing clubs in Liverpool and Hamburg over three years from 1960, if Courtney wants a "restart" of her career then she has to be "realistic" like them, many rock bands even perform in front of an audience of 30 or 40 fans in the bars from the beginning. "Realistic" means Courtney should take live opportunities as many as she can in case her meals and gas money are covered instead of waiting for her music videos go "viral" on the social media and invited to perform to a much bigger crowd.
If this is your first reaction to Courtney, I agree with other comments that you should next react to her 2018 AGT audition to see that major boost toward stardom--over 1/2 billion total views to date. Also, some other covers--she makes them all her own--on her RU-vid channel. Courtney was just 14 in this video; now at 18 she is starting to release originals, beginning with the recent Breakable.
She's greatly influenced by the art's she said that she listened to. James Brown, Janice Joplin. She definitely liked that sixtys fiber. She amazing to me. I grew up in that time.
@@brittreacts did you happen to send me a message on your Reba video about a ongoing prize or something? I just never know with these apps if its a scammer doing it😂
And most fans call it a great performance as any great Rocker will do. Plus what kid today even attempts to rock out with attitude like she can. But on the other shoe, she can sing the beautiful songs if you've taken the time to search for her. Here's her latest and a good ex. Her own original song called "Breakable" ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DOjyS5w1Ono.html
@@wgdavis5353 NP, I only know of 2 talent shows Courtney was on TV with. Unless you're referring to when she was very young and gathering experience at some local open mic contests. Hope not, because I would hate to use that to base my thoughts on any singer at such a young age. Although it's easy to see potential at that point. But I get it. For ex. people love Dimash. I just can't listen to the guy. I realize he's got lots of talent. Although I have read some opera singers making comments that he would be considered average at best in their circle. But I have no idea. I love rock, and I'm not into current pop crap that's being pushed today. Very boring for me.
@@bertpainter8385 There are lots of popular singers that I do Not like.. Off the top is Janis Joplin, Bruce Springsteen both of whom I think oversing most songs.. Macy Gray and Tracy Chapman, I do not think they are good singers.. ♠W.G.
@@wgdavis5353 Interested to know whom you consider good singers. Also, is this just a personal opinion, or do you have any musical credentials? It appears we have very different criteria.
