FIRST TIME REACTING TO DREAMCATCHER |Dreamcatcher(드림캐쳐) 'Scream', 'BOCA', & 'Odd Eye' MV (REACTION) 

Scream is part 1 of the Dystopia trilogy, which is about cyber-bullying, hateful comments and people losing themselves in the (fake) online world. It is mostly showing the victim's perspective of (cyber)bullying, comparing it to a medieval witch hunt and a burning at the stake. The tree is the tree of language, and it grows black fruit for every hurtful thing people say. Note also the hand gesture, it is the devil's horns introduced by Ronnie James Dio as a symbol for metal, but it originally was a gesture in the middle ages to ward off the evil eye, tying into the witch hunt theme. I really enjoy the music, it's rock mixed with EDM. Dreamcatcher are always very creative, and they are in their own genre by this point. Boca means "mouth" in Spanish and Portuguese and is part 2 of the Dystopia trilogy. Boca has the lines "Why do you fill your precious time with hate" and "Too many angels dying now", which points to the effects those comments can have. Several Kpop idols have committed suicide in recent years, most likely because of cyber-bullying, but this is also about all the unnamed people who suffer from online bullies. A girlgroup tackling such a subject impresses the hell out of me. They literally go to war in this video and tell haters to go and shut their "Boca" in the lyrics. And the song is absolutely awesome! Who said you can't have three different musical genres in one song? Odd Eye is part 3 of the Dystopia trilogy. People can get lost in the world of the Internet and social media and their online personas can take over their life. Dreamcatcher want us to use our odd eye to see through the lies (on Facebook and others) and don't be fooled by the "lies masked in sweetness". I can only recommend to keep reacting to them, they are always interesting and entertaining! And the song is a banger! Another trilogy I'd highly recommend is the Apocalypse trilogy: Maison, Vision, Bon Voyage.

And yes, this is the best group ever. They can do everything except for making a bad song. Their discography is something close to a hundred songs, and all of them are at least good, with really high percentage of literally masterpieces. Oh, and their genre is Dreamcatcher. They do it all, don't even try to pigeonhole them into something, they will always surprise you.

The one you were liking in BOCA was Jiu! She's the leader of Dreamcatcher! So happy you're enjoying your Dreamcatcher journey! They have another Trilogy that's more recent if you want to check it out. The songs are: Maison Vision BONVOYAGE In this story Dreamcatcher are portrayed as magical beings who are summoned to Earth to try and save it from destruction! If you don't want to start another story arc just yet they have some stand alone songs as well. The songs are: BEcause Endless Night Rose Blue Reason (a fan song)

For me, Dreamcatcher is the first alternative K-pop group - and with the best singing potential. It's really worth continuing to follow her path. Most recently, "Fairytale" (official special MV), "Demian" (official special MV), "Rising" (live show case") and "Shatter" (official dance MV) were the hits for me - not just in K-Pop. Dreamcatcher is incredible and always makes beautiful MVs with amazing music. Even in the beginning when they really didn't have much money and their company was deeply in debt, they still did incredible. Thank you for reacting to them. There's a few programs like radio shows and Esquire that you can listen to to hear them singing live without getting blocked on RU-vid--I highly recommend trying to find them.) I hope you continue to react to DC. If you're looking for MVs/title tracks that are unconnected to anything else, you can try out "BEcause" or "OOTD" (newest release, parodies the idol industry). If you want another trilogy, give the Apocalypse trilogy ("MAISON," "VISION," "BONVOYAGE") a shot. Those three songs are about climate change and protecting the planet in the most badass way possible. If you want to go back to DC's roots, try their original Nightmare Series in which the members all represent fears/demons ("Chase Me" (debut), "Good Night," "Fly High" (prequel), "You & I," "What," "Piri," and "Breaking Out"). They also have another game collaboration, "R.o.S.E. Blue," and a number of Japanese title tracks.

Man. I hope you have re-watched these because you missed SO MUCH during your initial reaction. Too bad you can't keep from squeezing your eyes shut half the time. I guess maybe watch some lyric videos of their songs a few times first and get it out of your system, before watching the actual music videos. Maybe you would not miss so much stuff that way. Just an idea though.
