I don't think of them as a dance-ccentric group... I think they are more sass and vocals. However, they have a famous fancam that almost broke the internet.
EXID doesn't really focus much on their choreography (althrough their choreos are mostly sexy), they focus more on their sexiness and their vocals (check out their main vocalist Solji, one of the best in Kpop). If you like sexy and choreography then watch their 'Up & Down' dance which is their most popular hit as the choreo went extremely viral in Korea back in 2014-2015
Part of what makes EXID's sound very unique as well is that the rapper LE cowrote, coproduced and co-composed most of their singles and album tracks. Her drops and overall production? Chef's kiss.
I forgot to say, in the mv they're flipping between hot and cold sets as they're flipping through hot and cold lyrics. I didn't notice until someone else said it later. Like when Hani is starting at us and smiling it starts off as red (hot) and as the room gets more blue (cold) she's lost her smile and is almost glaring at us. But, you know. In a hot way 😅 Also the cold and hot air coming from the vent.
The two groups that first got me into Kpop were EXID and AOA. One thing they both have in common is they are consistently bursting thermometers by raising temperatures to unknown levels. 🥵🥵
5 months late, but it’s pretty heartwarming to see someone else who also happened to begin their kpop journey with EXID and AOA. such charismatic members, and their music’s still solidly in my playlist because of how catchy they are...
They are not really known as a dance group although they have iconic choreos, Dancing is not their focus, But I have to say their vocals, rap and discography is 👌👌👌
Also fun fact about this group. Their main vocalist got sick and not only did they split their money to give to her while she couldn't perform with them during their activities, but they also left a space in all their dances for her, which is why you see more open space on side side of the formation than the other. It was to allow her to fit back in when she came back two years later. EXID kpop girl group goals.
So DDD is a way to describe your mouth chattering from the cold. They react coldly to the man’s advances, but they’re secretly warming up to him the more he tries . That’s why there are hot and cold elements in the video, Hani, in the purple hair is cold, Hyelin in the greenhouse, the lyrics saying what he’s doing is stupid but they’re falling, etc
EXID was one of my foundational kpop groups. So many bops. Not to mention Hani has one of my favorite voices of all time (terribly underutilized, unfortunately). Yes, EXID has a sexy style and image, but at their foundation, they're a very talented group with one of my favorite discographies
This is definitely one of the more recent sexy mvs. But If you want some unnecessarily sexy kpop mvs I’d definitely go with stellar vibrato or maybe hello Venus wiggle wiggle it was a whole thing to react to stellar because they’re whole concept was being sexy to the point it was even detrimental to their careers. & the hello Venus song was like popular as a song that got men through their enlistments at the time 😭 there’s actually alotttt of older kpop girl groups or soloists that had their choreographies banned on Korean music shows for being “too sexy” As for exid their song lady is a masterpiece as is the mv :)
I would've recommended EXID "Hot Pink" if you wanted to evaluate choreography. "I Love You" has good choreo to it, too. Def recommend "Up and Down" as well.
Not gonna lie. When you said Leggo...I smiled, because their fandom name is LEGGOS, because LE, she's the rapper, (now known as ELLY, who also produces Tri.be music) would say leggo all the time :) LEGGO! You should react to their 2x and 3x dances during weekly idol. Literally the best, if not freaking funny.

If you are looking for the epitome of sexy summer 2nd gen girl groups, SISTAR is a m.u.s.t. And even though their choreos were slow-ish, sexy stuff it was actually really good and their dance practices were as popular as their videos. You can start with 'Give It To Me', 'Touch My Body' or even 'I Like That' which had some nice wardrobe changes and use of scarves in the routine.
